Or you could run very hot water from the faucet over the empty bottle which will cause residual moisture inside to collect and condense into drops.

I try to get the last drops separate after I’ve drunk the glass. The last residue at the bottom of the glass and the bottle, I find, is the essence of the beer, with all its flavors maximized in the final small bit.

Couple of things to contribute to the OP.
    1. I always pour my beers against the side of the glass slowly, saving the last ounce or so, then agressively "swish and pour" that last ounce. It gets all the sediment/yeast and foams up the beer, leaving a nice creamy cap of head.
    2. This method typically isn't recommended with wheat beers, but I do it anyway.
    3. Lastly, and just an observation, some of the darker beers I've drank are surprisingly free of sediment, and that last "swish and pour" looks pretty filtered.

I do this with all beers, not just the "dark chewy" ones. Like the OP I don't to waste a drop of a relatively expensive beverage.

I just noticed the bba victory at sea I'm drinking has kept the discoloration from the last few drops on the head even as the head became just a thin film. The discoloration is still there, so there'sa long lasting visual effect at least in some situations apparently. Science.

I pour out every drop and then lick the rim of the bottle.

I certainly don't do that with the 500 ML cans of Bitburger that I often buy at Trader Joes'.
