So I guess I'm one step closer to "officially" being a local based on the criteria I think I remember being posted a few days ago...

(excuse my basement, it's where I keep the beer...)

BAM! I got ninja'd by @Damian74Shensky ... the box came early enough that I had time to unpack it before work, but I may have missed something, please let me know if I did (and you know Damian) I'll try to double check the box later though. This box is full of my two favorite things -- wants (that people don't know are wants because I never update the damn things...) and things I've NEVER HEARD OF (this honestly excites me a lot lol)

Pluff Mud Porter x2 -- Never heard of it. Excited by that.
Saint Arnold Divine Reserve 15 -- Have seen it flying around, kinda been intrigued, so definitely a WANT.
RJ Rockers Peachy King x2 -- Never heard of it. So of course it's a "want"
Westbrook Batch 1000 IPA (growler) -- #lehighfresh?? #lehighfresh!! Love some IPAs, excited to hopefully find someone to open this with in the next week
Quest Kaldi Coffee Stout (growler) -- Never heard of this either, but I also love coffee stouts... so there we go
Westbrook 4th -- WANT! Seen this flying around and secretly wanted to try it, but wasn't too worried about it... love that I randomly happen upon one in this box
Westbrook Fisticuffs -- While I obviously know Westbrook, never recall hearing about this one. Excited to try.
Due South Cafe Ole Espresso Porter -- Had my first Due South a few days ago, excited to try another
Lakewood The Temptress -- Never heard of it (a trend I'm enjoying), again... excited to try!
Palmetto Espresso Porter x2 -- Again.... never heard of it, and again... excited to try.

And a couple local treats from Abbott Farms -- Red Pepper Jelly and a Mild Peach Hot Sauce (Mild Hot? What?) I'm not a huge Jelly person so that'll probably go to the parents to enjoy, but we occasionally make wings at home so I'll probably get the chef (aka dad) to use the sauce next time we make them.

Not too sure what made me the target of this ninja box, but I'm definitely not gonna complain. Thanks so much Damian! Definitely going to pay it forward at some point, though it'll probably be a while... gotta keep an eye on my finances until student loans kick in so I know where I'll be sitting...

 

I did my best with your wants and I had around. Some of the bottles I had packed before you were "picked" for this.

The funny thing about the peanut brittle, is I wanted to find something local that could survive the trip packed with beer. I figure if peanut brittle got smashed, its still peanut brittle. Though the bag getting opened, is a just minor issue, they stay safe in zip lock bags. The fudge was a last minute through in to match 3/3 for the treats that I received in my box. I hope you enjoy, and good luck putting the box back together, took me a good 15 minutes of moving boxes around till I figured out the jigsaw puzzle.

Hey Texas folks anyone want to score this Paul Qui fan a bottle of Equipoise for what I hope can be a pretty nice box of stuff?

 

I have other plans this weekend so I won't be making the trip. With that few of bottles I highly doubt it will be there next weekend. Sorry, but it doesn't look like I can't help on this one.

 

I'm pretty sure that when it's not a sweet jelly, it's more intended to be used like a meat marinade than on toast, but I could absolutely be wrong.

 

So glad that we just started getting Quest near me. I stopped in to the brewery last year not knowing anything about them and was very pleasantly surprised, especially with the Kaldi!

Peach beer, peach hot sauce; that's a lot of peach in one box! No explanation given at all for all the peachy?

 

Depends. The most common use I see is to use pepper jelly mixed in with cream cheese (or on top of some cream cheese) on crackers or something.
