I'm trying to decide what to do with all this extra porch space now that I own a porch up north.

 

With the overpopulating going on down south, it must be getting hard to build porches with those trailer homes being built so close to each other.

Apparently I'm a part of this war whether I like it or not (Sometimes a general likes to bemuse the idea of being a civilian). What I didn't expect, however, was to be fired upon without warning! How ungentlemanly of you, Deren!


Prairie Vanilla Noir - A very welcome backup to the bottle I have in my horizontal, since this bottle has potential infection issues it's great to have two; already in the fridge to minimize the potential damage.

my fellow southern brother @rspauldi sure made it hard on me with that epic porch destruction from the stout buf, but I'm happy to hear my first shots from the south managed to successfully annihilate a Yankee's porch

So, last night after discovering the fridge door hadn't gotten completely closed for about an hour, I open the fridge to discover the WORST SMELL I HAVE EVER SMELT. Seriously, words cannot describe the horrifying nature of this stench. At first, I thought maybe someone from the North had snuck something into a recent box as a pre-emptive strike. It smelled of cowardice! It permeated EVERYTHING. Threw out every produce item that could possibly go bad, smell stuck around.

Fast forward to today. Cleaning the fridge, I notice at the VERY back, a smokey vapor coming from the fridge lamp. After investigation, I can positively confirm that burnt hop pellets are, in fact, the worst thing.



tldr; even though they are in the same family, do NOT smoke hop pellets like maryj.

 

So, I just got word from MN that @valrxman just blew up my porch with a ninja box! @mnbearsfan has graciously offered to forward the box on to me in Oregon! Thanks a ton Steve! This means I will have to send a payback box to you along with the Zach Attack cards I owe you (I haven't forgotten)!

Also, to the rest of the group, I havent been very active lately with the move but I am planning to ramp back up this summer when I am settled.

Finally, @jawas, I havent forgot that I owe still owe you a locals box. Hope you dont mind that it will now have to include crappy Oregon beers like De Garde instead of MN beers!
