Just my two pennies as I couldn't say it better than @UcDru or in photos better than @LehighAce06 but @Devman171 and Mrs. @Devman171 did an absolute awesome job of hosting Saturday. Opening their house to us heathens for an entire day was over the top kind.

Also big thanks to @_RL_ and @Littlelotte88. They absolutely broth me way more beer than I brought them. After a long day early ride back I've not yet been able to take proper pictures. Payback will happen, mark my words!

My two princes @Dave_Treat and my buddy @JNForsyth for driving me down and back up. It was very much appreciated and will be repaid at some point!

Since it's the top of the new page and will have tons of exposure....

So, as I mentioned a while ago that I would be willing to assign targets for the next round of locals, and I alluded to a "soon" start time to a couple folks at The Locals Share 1.0, I figure we should get this ball rolling. I know there are a lot of different BIFs, LIFs, etc going on right now (especially with the 12 days of summer) but I doubt at this point with the size of our community that a "perfect" time will come at any point in the foreseeable future. With that said, the "almost-anniversary" will be a "sixer" round. Without further ado…

Consider this the official signups for Round 6 of the Locals, or the "almost anniversary" round

    General rules are:

-- Sign ups will be between now and Sunday, May 17th at midnight

-- Shipping window will be through the end of June.

-- Minimum 6 beers, maximum of 150 oz

-- No beer swag required, but is generally encouraged

IF YOU ARE INTERESTING IN PARTICIPATING

-- Please shoot me a BM. If your information is in the locals directory, you don't need to include that, but it wouldn't hurt to just have it in a BM as well. If your information is not in the locals directory, include your name, shipping address, email address, and phone number in the BM.

-- Include likes/dislikes (I thought this was in the directory but I guess it wasn't?)

-- With the amount of rounds we've had now and the sheer number of people involved in this thread and other BIFs, LIFs, etc. I will only be considering past target/senders from locals rounds (first round, summer sixer, third round, not summer sixer, and circlejerk sixer) when assigning targets.

I will work on assigning targets the week after signups close and hope to have them out by the end of that following week, giving just over 5 weeks to collect beer and ship to your target. I will not be personally entering this round so that all pairings are a complete mystery to the participants.

Cheers, and let the almost one-year anniversary of the locals begin!

Or, for those of us that don't like to type a lot, we will shorten it to the 'AA round'.

    I think it's
    1. Get a box
    2. Put your beer in that box
    3. Make them open the box

That's the way you do it.

I think @Devman171 needs to hold another share this weekend with all the delicious beer that was left over!

Saucony Creek Schnickelfritz - No clue, never heard of it, sounds delish!
Snitz Creek Apple-Weisse Wheat - Love apples in my beers
Victory Kirsch Gose - we get Victory in CO, but I haven't seen this one yet.
Flying Dog Mexican Hot Chocolate Stout - Hell yes, this flavor profile sounds awesome
Weyerbacher Sunday Morning Stout - I won't lie, I have not liked many Weyerbacher beers, but I have seen so many of you guys drinking this and loving, I'm very psyched to try it... love BA Coffee Stouts
Troegs Flying Mouflan - Yeah, I also love BA barleywines. Sweeeet!

Springhouse Big Gruesome - I got one of these from @devilfluff in the Summer Sixer. It's still in my cellar. I'm absolutely gonna drink one very soon now!
Liquid Hero What The Floc - New brewery, DIPA, excellent
Troeg's Perpetual IPA - Heard this one is awesome, can't wait
Westbrook Gose - the best of it's style
Liquid Hero Extended Stay IPA - Another Liquid Hero, very cool
Troeg's Teku - My absolute favorite glass style. Awesome!

A couple of these are already in the fridge chilling just in time for the Rockets game!

Well I have been pretty quiet so far in this battle, but I assure you all, when I take fire, I will strike with a vengeance. You have my word. Thanks @JNForsyth for this great box!!

...and while those beers chill #VBS #datglass

Awesome, glad it arrived safe and sound, I wasn't entirely happy with how that glass fit in the styro-shipper. Also, thanks for the Oak Theory, everyone enjoyed it at the Locals share and I was happy to be able to bring something that good.

Nice! That is a real good IPA that gets no love around here, guess it's so readily available everyone forgets about it. Those cans came right from the brewery so they should be pretty damn fresh, how is it?
