    Maybe it's changed but I'll still take a 2013 over the 2014.

It's better than I remember... the last one I had was around April (?) from @mbmiche.
That being said, I think you're right and '13 was definitely better. Although i'm not that picky, still a great brew.

Received a fantastic box from @JasonR1975 today. Let's start with the packing. Dude takes no chances with the FedEx volleyball team. Including individually rubber banding a solitary Styrofoam peanut and paper sleave onto the top of every bottle. Jason, meet Florida FedEx drivers. Elderly box manglers, Jason.

Some pretty outstanding beers in here for small round. Dude killed it!

Yeah, didn't complain. Even if they hadn't came in late, still didn't guarantee me a bottle. Just figured I'd bitch in here since I didn't say anything there:grinning:

This is a great discussion topic. I believe there are 90+ breweries operating in and around the greater Chicagoland area. I've had many but not all. The problem is that I am sure more than a few of these breweries are producing mediocre things at best. Otherwise I would have had or heard of them by now. When it comes to trading for non local stuff, you are more often than not going to get some of the best of what that brewery has to offer, and it is always fun trying new things. As Josh mentioned it is nice to try and seek out new really good things while falling back on some reliable locals.
Also, I've made a mental and physical note to find and get you some more Crimson Snapper, maybe next batch.

Glad everything arrived safely, was able to hit some style preferences for sure and I know CO does not get Founder's distro so I figured I was safe there.

    Cheers!

Speaking of breweries in and around the greater Chicagoland area, distribution is spreading -- Pipeworks (limited quantities) hit a couple of my (semi-)local stores!!!

4 boxes out for delivery today, 2 to @UcDru AA. Should be a fun day!

I'm told Drew's 12-days may land today, FedEx may be going in strike in the OH corridor...

Be on the look out for cans of their Ninja vs Unicorn. Those should be coming pretty soon.

If that's in response to my haul pic (which I thought it might be since it was right after), even though @JNForsyth and I only agreed on a couple beers, we both said we should expand and toss in other stuff to make it more fun. He actually has no idea what I'm sending at all since he won't tell me anything he definitively wants

Well the fact that they are now using cans instead of bombers for this will drive cost down. So a 4 pack of 16oz cans will cost $9.99 versus $9.99 for a 22oz bomber means a lot of locals will be getting to try this if they are interested.
