Has anyone had to reroute a box before via fed ex?

Someone, not me, put the WRONG label on a box.

I wish you would have said something last Friday! There would have been 4 boxes going to Bowling Green instead of 3..

I don't suppose you were lucky enough that someone (#greg*cough*) sent to another Local? It's never happened to me, how do you even find out you're supposed to reroute anything?

 

I'm pretty sure Fed Ex can intercept the box and re-route, I'm sure they'll charge you for it though.

he drank TH growlers last night and was toasty and not listening. I'm SO frustrated. I called fed ex and the lady wasn't sure what they could do, trying to call again now.

 

It might depend on whether you have an account or if you just did a cash transaction at a Fed Ex store though. I'm almost positive if you have an account you can do a redirect/intercept.

 

I spoke to two different people, if they were in the same state they said it wouldn't be a problem. The fact it is a different state and name raises questions, which I did it all through my fed ex acct, I don't see how this can be a hassle, the wrong label was put on.

But it seems it may just be easier to send Nicky a label and have him just reship it out. They said they would have to track down which truck it is in, which sorting it is in, and can delay the package even more.

SIGH.

When did you ship it? We've had issues like this in the past at work where we've had them pull shipments before they were delivered, but they were ultimately returned to sender. Not sure if that would be quicker or not.
