I'm confused. You know the auctioner, he's aware of this group, has seen you guys' generosity, and wants to join to win trades? That's some fucking bullshit if I'm reading that right.

Oh you read it right! He lives in my town and was super nice and did a go pick it up for me bro, upon the last two weeks his antics have gotten really sketchy.

 

that auction stuff is ridiculous. People who participate in those are just throwing away their money.

 

I think 3-4? I know @Devman171 and I are planning an epic stone-fruit share at some point, and DD may have been the best option unless I'm confused.

Whenever it goes down, I'm bringing Fou, Casey Peach, West Ashley, Dynamo Fuzz, and CS Batch 50. So you know, a decent beer or two.

 

I really don't have a problem with folks "winning" trades out in the shark infested waters. And while I don't like the auctioning/lottery BS, it really doesn't affect me either. BUT, I don't want to see that kind of BA hanging out in these type of familial/camaraderie based groups. Sigh...

 

his bff got kicked off BA for hijacking trades, and not listening to the rules. It's only a matter of time until he does.

Right now he is trying to land casey and fou for a growler of fbd.

Sure, for that trade request... but if he wants to "join the group" to take advantage of our collective generosity, he clearly has nefarious intentions, and I wouldn't put it past him to be a lot more subtle about it.

How often do we welcome newcomers with open arms and decimate their porches before we even see what they're capable of?

I mean I make the mistake of being nice to people. He was super nice and picked me up some bottles and let me give him cash. But his whole reason was for good beer karma, he then wanted my huna and kept showing me pics of his impressive cellar.

Then on fbook he has been trading to win like crazy. Then the auction thing. Last week my friends had a bottle share and invited him since he is in our town and were trying to be nice. nope.

So thankful I hve my locals!
