So newbie = 5 trades?

There may be folks with less than that who would love to join BIFs but feel they don't have the "trading" experience and don't really want to dive into the ISO/FT forums... I would suggest you change that to something like anyone with less than 5 can join with a sponsor or someone to vouch for them. Many folks with no feedback/experience have friends who have.

Probably won't have many of us participating because of an almost exact timing overlap with Round 7 here. Good luck though, I'm sure there's some good fresh blood out there waiting for an opportunity to BIF.

Second, yeah - way more welcoming to all newbies imo. My only other "concern" is around the 144oz. That's 12 12oz. bottles or 7 bombers. Maybe smaller boxes for that one just for folks to get their feet wet? (I think we lose perspective in some of these larger BIF groups on "normal" box sizes).

I wasn't really counting on it, it really is intended for newbies. If only 3 people play, I'm fine with that too. I've come across quite a few people who have expressed interest in doing a BIF but weren't looking to do a sports BIF or join one of the two big groups, and Stout/12 Days is somewhat intimidating, so I figured I'd put something on for those that may be looking for a way to get their feet wet.

 

And here I thought 144 oz WAS a smaller box Seriously though, if we're talking primarily local beers, nothing walezbro required, that's 2 mix-a-six from the grocery store. Is that really too much of a commitment?

Over the weekend, my wife went to Atlanta and that is when @UTvols05 decided that he needed her to bring me back some beers he had for me. The 3 bottles are all of Kyle's doing. The 2 growlers and the 2 sixers are from her looking around some stores.

So I was driving by @jawas house, so I was going to drop a small ninja on him. I get there and there is a reverse ninja waiting for me. With absurd beers, juice and toys for my kids. Thanks Rob, but you are on my list now. This was ridiculous.

On mobile so can't easily tag but met up with nick and "new jeremy" today with a non-BA buddy of mine to try BA Sunny side up and it was great. "New jeremy" was super generous-- bought my buddy (who only brought food money) a beer then bought the entire table a ninja round I honestly wasn't expecting.

BA sunny side up was fantastic.

 

I'm so jelly of the BA SSU! Haven't even had SSU yet! just a bottle waiting to be cracked

 

So ok, here goes! First id like to give a shout out to @PA-Michigander @ninjembro and his friend who I did not catch! It was an awesome evening for day drinking!! Love it! Second, I know a few of you question my greenness! I assure you, I am legit! I am new to craft as of 3 months commited! I have done my homework, my refuse company can contest! I will with approval, open my first lif.. You don't know me from jack, but this was all actually planned, I have tons on proof, via pics, texts, Facebook/media.. I wanted it this way, you have no thoughts, hints, or knowledge of my beer history as of my craft birthday conception! Will gladly fill in everything in profile after this lif is done! So here goes, since April 3 1/2 months to date, how many beers on ba top 250 have I consumed/ tasted? Tie breaker goes to guess top the best give had! Bonus points if you choose to play, what beers as ive had in said list! Your correct guess if in cellar/ available you will receive as bonus upon said generous box, will throw in a crowler of BA SSU! Just because I wanna BIF!!! Deadline ends Friday July 31 11:59 pm, why July 31? Its my wedding date, and want to replace the meaning of the day, to the awesome lif box someone won as opposed to the 10+ year mistake, minus my children made! Let the games begin... Divorce day lif to be launched at a later date, as was just approved a month ago! Not getting into the drama, will just celebrate via the artisan beer we are blessed with!
