Cork and cage bottle. Dark purplish beer with almost no head retention. Some sort of fruited sour. Tastes like maybe plum or grape. This is really nice.

No worries at all. We love Weldwerks and the suMwuT blind aspect just proves it! Can't wait for the next 3 days! Hell we drove over 20 hours for it!

I did add in my shipping restrictions we'd be in Colorado that week.:nerd:

    Day 3 courtesy of @JasonR1975 a 10% ABV +...

Barrel aged stout. Adjunct? I think vanilla. Definitely got more vanilla as it warmed up. Medium bodied. Pretty boozy for a 10% stout...

And that’s probably because it was a 15% stout!!! New brewery. New tick. Delicious beer. Thanks Jason!

Actually opening up today's beer at a normal hour today!

Something from Speciation (so the cork says). Sour, think there's probably some kind of fruit there, but not sure what.

Speciation Phylogenetic, foeder aged solera sour ale with tangerine. Damn good beer @core42!

Day 3 from @JNForsyth - proper glassware this time (target remembered to read instructions)

Big stout, full bodied, creamy mocha head, and bourbon for days. Not detecting any adjuncts. I love this. Based on glassware guessing bourbon betrayal.

First sip it's for sure a sour. Straight out of the fridge, I'm not picking up any fruit.
After it warmed up a bit almost seems like cherries.

Flesh and Stone from Casa Agria. I've enjoyed everything thing I've been able to try from them, and this is no exception. I don't think I pick up on the mango even after knowing it's there, but still very enjoyable.

    Thanks Nick.

And the last of the extras, obviously #3. Dan had said he liked this one more than MD, so I figured I would go share it a buddy (hence the lack of #PGW). This was on a completely different level than MD. Decently carbed, thin, tons of roast coffee, with a ton of maple syrup, but not overly sweet like MD.

Never knew this existed! My personal preference goes to MD, but that doesn't take away from the fact that this stout is fantastic, just in a different way. Thanks again @dannyfayy

    Day #3 from @Devman171

After a busy day I got back to the hotel to crack open a beer. Decided on an IPA and grabbed one of the wrapped cans.

Oh snap. Ooops. Definitely not an IPA. Tasting like a barleywine.

Aslin Rich Mahagony barleywine. Not what I was expecting but a good beer to end the day with. Thanks Devin.

The troll of @mervmurry is going well so far.

Just kidding, very busy on the weekends and it's very hard to post on BA, did check in on Untappd and posted pics on Slack. Also, you'd think it'd be a lot easier to upload pics on a site where so many are uploaded day to day.

Day 1 was split in to two beers, started with the can marked 1A:

Juicy, hazy IPA. Not aware of any of those made in KY, didn't realize Michael was so close to Cincinnati. Proper glassware pull was dumb luck.

Listermann - Hank the Dumpster Kitty

Great way to start the BIF off!

And finally opened Day just before midnight after driving all over the state to visit family all day:

Removal of cap revealed a cork, a super dry cork that feel apart as I tried to remove it. What's left of the cork said Streetside Brewing, which I'm not familiar with.

A sour for sure, thinking Strawberry or maybe Melon?

Ended up being a wild ale brewed with tea. So many flavors going on with this, nice sour notes and tons of fruits/herbs going on. Interesting and complex, I enjoyed it.

When I saw the wax top I thought I was in for some sort of BA stout, but instead I get a dark, fruited sour. Tastes like cherries and some oak, but not a spirit barrel. no clue what beer it is, but I like it very much.

Day 4 from @dannyfayy came in the form of a 375ml green bottle, plain silver cap. Poured a prickly hazy orange. First impression was slightly sour peaches with a little hint of oak behind it. Given the region, I figured it was an Allagash sour...

So close, yet so far. Yet another new brewery tick! Very refreshing, the oak became more apparent the warmer it got. Thanks again Dan!
