    Stealing Applebees glasses is silly. Stealing their entire bar is just straight up badass.

    ****LIF ALERT****

    Locals – I will be attending the Bell’s 30th Anniversary Funvitational this weekend (special thanks to @core42 for getting me a ticket!) and as it is customary to run a LIF when one attends such events, here is mine. Typically, the LIF is how many ticks one will have during such event, but as I am planning to be somewhat responsible by probably staying in the 10 – 15 beer range, I will do something a little different.

    Imagine that I’m a billionaire playboy (shouldn’t be too much of a stretch) and instead of attending a festival, I will simply hop in my private jet and fly to each brewery to get a sample from the source. This LIF will be to guess the number of miles that will be put on my jet as I check in each beer. The mileage will be between each city the brewery is located (using www.distance-cities.com), not the breweries themselves. So if I decide that I want a Pliny the Elder to start my day, I would put 1,959.92 miles on my jet (Portage to Santa Rosa) and then want to follow that with an Abraxas, it would be 1750.02 miles (Santa Rosa to St. Louis) and so on.

    My jet will leave from and return to Portage, MI. If I start or end with any Kalamazoo breweries, it will be 0 miles as I am a responsible billionaire playboy and will simply have my driver take me to the brewery rather than put miles on my jet.

    This LIF is open to any Local that has participated in any of the previous seven BIF rounds, Local noobs that have ran and sent out a LIF of their own, and SWTFYW lurkers. All submissions need to be in by 4 PM EST on Saturday, September 12, 2015. In the event of a tie, I will use PIR rules.

    Really cool idea. And extremely difficult to guess considering we have no idea what you'll be drinking, or in what order. Because of this, I'm not going to even bother trying to make an educated guess, and instead just go for the first huge number that pops into my head...

    17,483 miles. Thanks for the chance!

    Sixtercan signup!! Could be the last trip for this box, keep this going one more time!

    Please BM me if you would like to be included in the possiblity of receiving a glorious box from yours truly. The signup will go until Saturday to give ample time for all interested parties :slight_smile:

    NBO - SixterCAN trip #7

    If you would like to be in consideration to be the recipient of a box filled with 6 cans (and then some), please BM me your shipping address. If you would prefer to skip this trip and sign up for a future trip, don't send me your address and wait for the next person to post their NBO to sign up.

    Signup period ends at midnight Saturday, September 12th. At that time I will select the recipient and start posting hints as to who it is. Box will be shipped out at a TBD date.

    Trip #1 - Pennsylvania (LehighAce06) --> Texas (rspauldi)
    Trip #2 - Texas (rspauldi) --> New Jersey (Jawas)
    Trip #3 - New Jersey (Jawas) --> Connecticut (Littlelotte88)
    Trip #4 - Connecticut (Littlelotte88) --> Chicago (NickyPogs)
    Trip #5 - Chicago (NickyPogs) --> Arizona(Kylo76)
    Trip #6 - Arizona(Kylo76) --> Maryland (devman171)
    Trip #7 - Maryland (devman171) --> ????

    See official rules below....

    ----------------------------------------------

    How SixterCAN works:

    1) The current holder of the SixterCAN box will make a post in the Locals BIF thread saying that the signup period for the next Trip is open and will be open for 2 or 3 days. Anyone that would like to be a potential target for the box would send their address information in a BM to the current holder of the box. To be eligible the person must have:

    a) participated in a previous or current Locals BIF round.
    b) have not already received the SixterCAN box.

    2) After the signup period is over, the current holder will randomly (or using any criteria of their choosing) pick the next lucky recipient of the SixterCAN box. They will not announce this person nor the number of people that signed up, but instead will start posting hints as to where the box is going (BIF style hints). If no one signs up to be the next recipient then, as the original founder, @@LehighAce06 will be the final recipient (hopefully without him knowing that it is coming to him).

    3) The holder of the SixterCAN box will fill the interior box with high quality (preferably local) cans, and ship it to the target. Make it a kickass box, but with this group of people I know we won't have to worry about that. Also, add the targets name to the tracking board in the box and add any 'decorations' that you wish to help commemorate the box's visit to your state.

    4) The outer boxes will also be filled with 'extras' or swag, please make sure to replace whatever you take; not necessarily exact, 'IPA for an IPA' or 'hat for a hat', but please keep in mind the quality of what was removed, as well as your target's distro.

    5) The box may also include a "challenge" beer. An envelope will be attached to the Challenge beer. Inside the envelope will be instructions on what activity needs to be completed BEFORE the recipient is allowed to unwrap/open the Challenge beer. The point is for it to be fun, for the group if not for the challengee, and for the bottle to be something extra nice that is earned as a reward for playing along for the Locals entertainment. Most importantly, the challenge is not mandatory, however the bottle cannot be opened until completion of the challenge, and not at all if the recipient passes on doing the challenge.

    6) Once the box is received by the target, they will post the pr0n for all to enjoy.

    7) Start over at #1

    You do not have to enter every signup period. You can pick and choose when you want to be in consideration to be the next recipient. This would be nice if the current holder of the box is from your own state or an adjoining state or if you are going to be out of town for a while or whatever. Jump in and out as you please.
