I did look this morning .. But i was trying to look at Dan's tracking and clicked yours instead..

 

So my box will be hitting my targets porch tomorrow. Just in time to watch the Packers kick the shit out of the Bears. My team may suck as much as Aaron Rodgers does in the men's room at a truck stop, but at least my city makes some great beer that my target will enjoy!

 

And my LIF winning finally came in from @Littlelotte88 and it was worth the wait. Ive been looking for the different bomb and noir variants and finally got my hands on a Christmas bomb. I was going to use the heady as my shotgun video beer but its too good to shotgun my only heady. Also I had someone send me like 8-10 Gandhi-Bot before the trade value went through the roof but that was what seemed like a few years ago so looking forward to that again. Didnt check the dates but im drinking them tonight anyways. Awesome box! Thanks

 

Currently plan is to be at GI Wrigleyville to watch the Bears vs. Packers. I understand if people can't make it. I will be back in Chicago at the end of the month/beginning of October with more free time. Also, going to the Bears game that weekend.

I'll put out my own LIF out there for others to enjoy, in all 3. Don't think I'm experienced enough to join in this awesome BIF, just want to let you all in on this since @valrxman was generous in inviting us newbies.

I use to be a pro photographer. Now, I just do a few weddings a year for extra cash. I have 3 weddings this month (12th, 19th and 26th). I shoot 9 hours per wedding and use 2 nikon DSLR's. I'm the main photographer, so I run the show and shoot all the formal photos, etc. There is another photographer with me, but I will only count the images I shoot with my 2 cameras. Yes, I use 2 due to different lenses (wide and telephoto) and backup. Guess how many photos in total I'll take total at all 3 weddings. Closest answer wins the box! Tag me so I can keep track of submissions. Will take submissions until Sept. 25th!

#VHSCCS (Virtual Hospital Strawberry Cheesecake Share)



Might as well make the best of this, still no beer, but that is OK cause I have strawberry cheesecake!

Day 1 of ??? update. Not any better, not any worse, which is actually very good. It had spread from toe, to foot, all the way up my leg (stopping just 2 inches from important stuff) in a day, so stopping is good. Maybe I get to keep all my toes, fingers crossed.

 

Wow man. That's pretty incredible stuff.








I had no idea they served cheesecake at the hospital!

But seriously though, I'm glad it's nothing worse today, that's gotta be good news in itself, all the up the leg in a day is pretty scary stuff. If you do start losing toes, I know a @Mipper that can set you up with a gently used Rascal scooter.

 

And, just to share what I did the night before heading to the ER (didn't know it was that bad then) I was packing up a box. I had everything set aside to put in, and noticed a can looked a little odd. Picked it up, and kablooo, beer everywhere. After cleaning it up remembered I had another in the fridge. Gingerly I opened the door, and crap, the top was bulging. I gently picked it up, put it in a baggy, and kablooo. At least I could pour it into a glass. What wasn't foam, tasted pretty good.
