Yeah Im board at work and reading into Eddy's LIF way too much BUT If his daughter Loved Frozen and watched it over a year but now has another "character she chose as her new model to emulate" then its hard for me to think shes changed her "Princess" state of mind. I'm probably wrong so its not that hard for me to believe

 

As a language prof, I am loving this conversation! Indeed, I did not say that her new pick was a princess. Even though, she loves Cinderella, Jasmine, Ariel, Snow White and so many others, her new favorite is Tinkerbell!!!

Good pick! Lately my 4 y/o has been frequently watching the half dozen different Tinkerbell movies on Netflix...

I wouldn't say she's a "model that he emulates" necessarily, but fortunately they're cute movies I don't mind being on over and over again, and sometimes it's nice to put on something that'll hold his attention for longer than 30 minutes.

 

Tinkerbell is definitely manageable and she shares her tv time with her brother, who is crazy about Thomas the Train. Overall, I am fine with these shows.

 

Yeah when he's not watching movies like that he likes The 7D, Miles from Tomorrowland, Little Einsteins, and Curious George (and Paw Patrol, thanks for reminding me Dennis)... I'd love for some more education to be in those, but a couple don't do too badly with it.

I'm just glad that TV time means daddy can have a beer


note: that last part makes me sound much more like an alcoholic and much less like a good dad.... I can't say it's 100% untrue, but I said it just to keep it on topic.

 

I can't handle Thomas. My daughter's new show is Paw Patrol, she had a Paw Patrol birthday party yesterday.

I did not know 7D. I guess I will have to wait a little longer

I am sorry. I am so glad that my daughter got over Caillou quickly. That kid is freaking me out.

 

My children don't know who he is, and I plan on keeping it that way.

 

I learned all I needed to know about Caillou from John Oliver...google it.

I'm still trying to find an episode where he visits a brewery to find out how "daddy's juice" is made...

 

Tinkerbell! Nice...I was going to guess the Pirate Fair (what my daughter was for Halloween last year), but went with a princess like others. No one has ever said my reading comprehension was very good.

 

I tried Mr Rogers after he started watching Daniel Tiger.... no bueno, but I might try again.

 

There are advantages to being childless.
