Kyle, et al, I can probably take a half day next week and/or just get out of work early next Friday if you guys were free to meet somewhere. I'll check around to see if there are any good events going on that day.

I also have to meet @whyteboy003 when he is in town. Nick, try to stick around this area for at least a little bit before heading to cheese country.

I can make myself and my beer available if anyone is interested. Friday or Saturday should be ok, just have to check with the boss. I'm about 20 minutes from O'Hare and if it's nice out we can sit on the patio. I don't know of anything going on 10/16 or 10/17 in terms of events, but I'll keep my ears open for any special tappings.

 

I'm in San Antonio....New Braunfels is a cool place, if you hang out in Gruene, its a really nice relaxing place. Lot of wine tasting and decent beers on taps in different tasting rooms. You can also check out Specs there in NB.

 

I was just there for my honeymoon. Get the ribs from the Gristmill, loved them but all the food is good there.

No joke, I either go buy another rack for my beer or someone comes here and starts drinking...a lot of it. I'm pushing 300 bottles of almost all Qty. 1 stuff that I want to drink.

I'm in Houston, but my parents live near New Braunfels. I'm planning on coming to visit October 16-17. Will be making a trip to jester king that weekend (possibly both days).
