Another box with two Lego sets, damn you locals spoiling my son!!!! Love you guys and gal! Grant still in the hospital for at least one more day. Good news he stood up and took a couple steps today, proud of my guy!

 

I remember someone else saying they hadn't had Vanilla Rye, hmmm... Great job Nick!

@Kylo76 yes there was a local named Dennis that made a comment, that hurt to read as I had just sent out my last unspoken for bottle.

For some reason @vitaminvert decided to attack my porch. Maybe he was feeling jealous because I can do more push-ups than him or something and is trying to take me out. In any event, I was completely blown away by the contents of this box



Denver Beer Co - Incredible Pedal IPA x2 - New tick and sounds very nice
Dry Dock - Hefe - Don't think I've had any beers from them but am excited for this
Ska - Modus Mandrina - Another new tick
Crooked Stave - Petite Sour Blueberry and Raspberry. Really damn excited for both of these!!!

Trinity - Saison Man and Red Swingline - Have had the Red Swingline and loved it.
Casey - East Bank!!!, Amarillo Dry Hopped Oak Theory!!! Brett Loves Citra!!! Have tried a few casey beers but never owned my own. This is fucking awesome.

Well I received two boxes today from Locals...and I must say things have gotten completely out of hand. I was at New Glarus most of the day and I apologize for the late ****, it's been a crazy day. Tomorrow back on the road and heading to Central Waters for the Black Gold release and party...it's gonna be a mess.

Odell IPA - I've had some sours from Odell but never an IPA. The ratings on this one are crazy good...

Do I really need to say anything? Clearly the brewery he chose was Casey...and not only that he sent the most insane bottles possible.

East Bank - Flat out awesome beer. Had a small taste before, really looking forward to a big pour.
Oak Theory - Honestly in my Top 10 if not cracking my Top 5 for all time beers. I've had twice and both times it was incredible. Perfectly balanced...cannot wait to share this with some people that have not had the pleasure.

Cherry Casey Family Preserves - Are you f'n kidding me? I thought my porch was reinforced, but I did not engineer it for multiple whales to be dropped on it. I think the UPS guy used a forklift just to get this to my door. This bottle and The Cut will be put aside for extremely special occasions...with any luck the Cubs will provide a reason in the next couple weeks to crack one!

I'm truly humbled by Locals generosity... @vitaminvert has really overdone it. How do I even follow up this box? All I can say is THANK YOU! You are in a league of your own...

So let me preface this by saying that I'm not usually a fan of Brett beers - usually find them a bit too tart or funky, although they might be growing on me. I thought Wild Bear was delicious, and I believe 3 of the other 8 last night had it as their #1 out of everything we tasted. The Brett wasn't overpowering and offered a really nice balance within the beer. Hope you enjoy yours!

On a different note, I secured enough anniversary last night at Kane for everyone who asked me. I will slowly be getting them out. It was nice meeting @ohyeahitsmuff there briefly and I'm sorry for not having time for whoever tried to ninja pint me. Thank you though
