I know but they are either to high of abv for georgia, or out of distro. Owner drives around and buys all this stuff, and sells its in his shop. Another place almost got shut down 30-40 miles north of this shop for doing the same thing. Its a problem in georgia.

Does anyone know of an extra Extreme Beer Fest Saturday session #1 ticket around? Just got the green light from the wife that I can go!

I went shopping yesterday. Picked up some stuff for both of my packages.

@edhizdeid - I tried to get you a growler of Carton Hoppun. But, the keg kicked halfway through... As a consolation prize I got a couple of free pints of Hoppun.

Now I'm gonna be craving one of these for a while! Well, I was on the fence about driving up for Darkness Day, but I think this may have just clinched it because I'm gonna have to get my fill.

Recommendations on a good place to stay that's close enough to the festivities and other things to take into consideration?

 

Booked my hotels for my trip next weekend.

Friday trip to Hill Farmstead. Saturday to Pumpkinfest in Keene, NH.

If my target likes this, I'll add at least 1 bottle of whatever HF has into his box.

Kind of depends where you want to go. You can stay up in Brooklyn Center if you aren't planning on camping. It's just 4 miles up the highway from Surly. Pretty cheap too$86 a night. There are a bunch of hotels in that area around Hwy 100 and Hwy 694. There are some recommendations in the Darkness day thread you can look for food.

Non-BIF Question: Does anyone have a quantity of Event Horizon they would want to trade me? (specifically @treznor). I shared a bottle with my brother a couple months back and then we hit the Olde Hickory booth once on my suggestion and twice more on his suggestion. He loves the beer and I would like to give him a few bottles. If no one has any available, I'll hit up the ISO forum.
