Sorry for the tardiness @dannyfayy I promise to catch up!

First of all Day 0....A very nice BA Old Ale that I rather enjoyed. Great Toffee flavors.

Roundabout Bourbon Barrel Stout. HAHA! Totally didn't realize the was a stout. It's really good. I'm actually a big fan. However, I find it funny because local yinzers have said this is just as good as Black Magick. I disagree. These bottles were really hard to come by, so I figured I'd never get to try it. Glad to have a Local friend track one down for me! Thanks buddy!

Forgive me. I've cheated. A couple hours early. But I need to take one day off this weekend and well, I was ready to drink more stout tonight... and I'm hoping Mike sent me more stout...

So a bit early, but let's do Day 3....

Bigger bottle, seems like a 750 mL even though this damn wrapping paper makes it hard to tell.

Black tape on cap, I'm used to this now. Mike isn't gonna make this easy... I have no clue

Smells coffee AF. Don't smell much barrel. I think this is some kind of coffee stout based on smell alone.

Pours jet black. This beer is thick AF. So damn thick. I love the body, LOVE IT. There's a little bit extra sweetness in there. Makes me think there might be another adjunct but I'm not entirely sure. Maybe almonds, I can't tell? This body alone reminds me of a Trillium stout so that's where I"m going with this one.... And knowing that @Mikexw has a blood connection in the Boston area... I think I'm on the right track. But yeah Trillium makes a shitload of 750 mL bottles with coffee... Night & Day (with extra adjunct variants), PM Dawn (if it's an old school bottle before they canned it), Affogato, what else? hmmmm.....I don't know.

I'll have some balls and make one pick. I did my untappd search of all their beers. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. I'll guess that extra sweetness is coming from vanilla and pecans. so I guess Vanilla/Pecan Night & Day. Let's do the reveal...

Fuck yes!! I actually got one right. This beer is awesome. And I didn't even know they made this variant before tonight. Thanks @Mikexw !!

When you get a day 2 from a PA guy that 1st reveal looks like this. Your mind and butthole gets to racing...

    Alas - it wasn’t THAT..

But it was a delicious bourbon vanilla stout from Brew Gentlemen. I took my picture to match the name. Thanks @robgage

I get hints of coffee and vanilla comes through more when it warms up. With the wax I’m guessing it is barrel aged.

The reveal and nailed the adjuncts! This was tasty and drank it fast so now I’m heavily buzzed. Thank you @KyleDavis

Sorry I’m late to post day 2....but I got a little dramsk last nigh. Just waking up, so time to post. @valrxman is continuing to kill it. I don’t really have any wants (thanks to you generous assholes), but I’ve been wanting to try this one since I first read about it. It did not disappoint.

    Day2
Thick, chewy, little sweet, and picking up some barrel. Thinking there is some rye in it from the chewiness not sure about the barrel

Darkstar November from BL. Now that I see the label and it warms up a bit I noticed the maple more. Strange how thay happens. Wonder if something said contains fish eggs if I would then taste fish eggs. Thanks @UcDru for day 2. Always a fan of BL beers.
    Cheers!

I got a second box from @azuelke yesterday to round out my 6 Days and a few more extras. Sorry for the delayed post.

3 more wrapped Days got me all kinds of excited for the weekend!

And I made sure to drink my Day 2 bottle from @azuelke last night after practice.

The aroma was tart, jammy, berries. I guessed blackberries and/or possibly black currants from the dark purple color. The mouthfeel was thin and crushable, acidity was medium but seemed to be mostly derived from the fruit and not the beer itself. Based on the plain cap, I guessed a Meertz from Funk Factory.

I kind of forgot this beer was even a thing, but I was pretty close!

My day 2 from @mervmurry was another hazy IPA (this one was even better than day 1), and a pastry stout that I swear tasted like coconut but that wasn’t one of the adjuncts. I really enjoyed both and it was nice to have a couple burial beers, i don’t get to try much of their stuff.

Here comes Day 3 from @azuelke, more saison for meeeeeee!

The amber bottle and silver cap make it tough to guess. From the low acidity and full body, I’ll guess Hill Farmstead. I get a hint of oak, so maybe this is Puncheon Florence? Or Barrel Aged Dorothy - and it’s borderline criminal they didn’t name that Dot.

There’s some faint citrus here like lemon peel without the flesh. Hmmmmm......

Day 3 from @Sassyshe888 brings me a plain black cap, so I can at least eliminate this being from Bottle Logic
    [IMG]

The pour was fairly thicc. The aroma is pretty heavy on the vanilla with some chocolate mixed in. I get a brownie like flavor from my first couple of sips. In order to figure out what this beer is, I googled “pastry stouts from LA with black caps” but that just directed me to **** sites. I looked through Sheila’s Untappd checkins, but couldn’t find anything that really matched what I was tasting. I then requested all of Sheila’s bank and credit card statements for the past six months to see what breweries she may have visited, but that resulted in too many **** expenditures to weed through. I checked her Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter profiles and only found pictures of @PG2G at tiki bars. Finally, I called all her known associates and they denied even knowing her. So based on my thorough research, I’m confident that this is a Double Barrel Aged Michelob Ultra aged in Rum and Sherry Barrels with Cardamom and Jalapeños added.

Damn, I was so close. Green Cheek/Other Half All Batter Everything was going to be my second guess. Thanks Sheila!!

Day 3 brings a 750ml cork and cage. Plain cork so no help there.
Pours cloudy light yellow. Funk on the nose and the faintest hint of fruit. First sip is tart and effervescent. But then.....boom. Fruit. Sweet stone fruit. It hits and then retreats. I let it warm up a bit.
Now the nose is clearly peaches. Being a Georgia boy, I know peaches. They also blossom on the palate as it warms up. I don’t recall Side Project being C&C otherwise my guess would be Peche du Fermier.

Casey One Key. Double fruited with apricots and peaches aged in oak barrels. Wow- this is fantastic, @NJB145! Now that I know what it is I’m picking up some apricot as well. Thanks for such a great beer!
