Hope you dudes are ready for some ****!

Taken at work here is a landscape shot of all the bottles.

Taken at home minus a Pliny already enjoyed

    And here's the list:
RR - 2xPliny the Elder (Can never get tired drinking this beer)
    - Supplication (Drank, loved, repeat)
    - Sanctification (Cannot wait to try!)
    - Redemption (Never had but looking forward to)
    - Shadow of a Doubt (Didn't know they made Dark beers  really excited to try)
Almanac - Dogpatch Sour (had at DLD but was pretty drunk and don't remember, so awesome to get this again)
    - Dogpatch Strawberry (Can't wait to try)
    - Farmer's Reserve Pluot (Really can't wait to try)
    - Farmer's Reserve Blackberry (Another one?!?! Every bottle I unwrapped was another present and a want to tick)
    - Sourdough Wild Ale (Very curious to try this one, it may sit a while though and we will see what time does.)
FW - Bretta Rosé (Unbelievable, huge want I can cross off my list)
Westbrook - Gose (The 3 people I work with that know anything about beer offered to trade me immediately for this, another want for sure)
Ballast Point - Victory at Sea (another huge want of mine, heard it's one of the best vanilla forward beers out there)
Drakes - Drakonic Imperial Stout (Never had Drakes but looking forward to this RIS)
Tioga Sequoia - Rush Hour Breakfast Stout (Never heard of, but sounds like another fantastic beer!)
Speakeasy - Black Hand (Yup, more local unfamiliar stuff to try, sounds really good too)
Santa Clara Valley - Peralta Porter (Love the story of the brewery and beer, sounds like a true local)
Hermitage - Citra Hops (I've had their single hop Galaxy and now looking forward to this one)
21st Amendment - He Said (Completely unfamiliar, but I do enjoy porters and stouts so we shall see)
And finally the growler of Cellarmaker - Otto's Jacket (Will definitely be opening this with friends tonight)

Again, just completely dumbfounded by all of the awesome beer generosity received today. So many wants, styles, and interesting beers I am looking forward to trying!

I'm not much of a wordsmith like some of you but here it goes
Worst part of my evening was when I had to go to dinner with the family and this porch crusher had to wait on me. But when I got home it was like Christmas morning when I was a kid.

    http://i842.photobucket.com/albums/zz341/wville21/Mobile Uploads/2014-06/273F93B3-012F-4034-B72A-32B32830DFFC_zpscjqvgnuf.jpg
    First the wants:
    BBQ
    Opal
    Vanilla Noir
Can't wait to try all of these wants except for Vanilla Noir that will have to wait for fall to be consumed

    http://i842.photobucket.com/albums/zz341/wville21/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-06/2E239751-4B03-445A-BF04-48AEC914FAA3_zpsqebxzgal.jpg
    The Big Boys:
Trinity Triple Already had and it was very good.
Triple B I love me some triple. So this will be right up my alley.
Das Wunderkind! Saison Jester King, never had a bad beer from there

    http://i842.photobucket.com/albums/zz341/wville21/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-06/3CF2BCB2-4485-4B61-B6E3-F8542D0AE261_zps6w2kssc5.jpg

    The bottles:
Till & Toil Another saison that should taste great layin by the pool
Devils Backbone I love sippin triples on a cool summer night around a fire
Devine #14 St Arnolds how can you go wrong
The Temptress Had belofe and really enjoyed

    http://i842.photobucket.com/albums/zz341/wville21/Mobile%20Uploads/2014-06/264F84B4-B5C7-44F6-A73E-992AC6659EF0_zpsxyzhdmpi.jpg
    The cans:
    First Stand Another solid saison
Weisse Versa Wheat sounds interesting and refreshing
Barn Burner More funk for me!!
The one they call Zoe never heard of the brewery but the beer gets great ratings

rspauldi many thanks for all the beer. Some wants, some light refreshing saisons for around the pool and some big triples for sippin late at night.
cant wait to give all of these a try.
Lastly this was very unique packaging. No fear of spillage or breakage with paper wrap, bubble wrap then plastic wrap and placed in a box with peanuts and balled up paper balls. Then places in a bigger box with more peanuts and paper balls.
    Many thanks again.
Now I can't wait for the next round of Locals cause I'm all in if there is another one!!!
Oh yea and now off for packing my bomb that will head to Texas to explode!!!!

How awkward was the call you had to make to the IT department about your broken monitors after the weight of that bounty broke the desk?

Glad they arrived safe and sound. I tried to stick with your wanted styles. I looked back through some of your old posts (yes, I stalked you :flushed:) and saw that you weren't a hop head so I also stayed away from IPAs. Made it a little tough since there aren't a whole lot of local tripels and saisons.

Texian is a very small local brewery that just started canning a few months ago. They are a two man operation currently. They are about 15 minutes away from my house and I volunteer there when they have their brewery tours/tastings. First Stand is a solid effort from them. They have been pretty basic with their offerings so far as they get their feet under them. I'm really looking forward to them turning it up a notch

This isn't the first time that I have gotten comments on my packing jobs. Not the most professional of jobs because I use whatever is handy, but so far I am 100% with them (knocking on wood).

Surprised that you have already had those two beers before. Obviously you have done a trade with someone from Texas before. Temptress is a great milk stout and one of my favorite Texas brewed beers. The BBA Temptress is just wonderful but it is really hard to come by. The brewery is in Dallas and not much it makes its way down to Houston.

    Hope you enjoy.

Hope you enjoy the brews and the vessel. Madtree is my local brewery just about 10 minutes from my house they are doing a lot of good stuff. The Rivertown Sours I think you will like especially the Ojos Negros they too are about 5-10 minutes from my house. The chickow! and Truth are also popular locals here in Cincinnati. Let me know what you think of the beers and drink that Zombie ASAP I think it has 5 or 6 weeks on it but I just cracked my last one a day or two ago and it was still drinking fine.

    Cheers!

This was my first BIF and you completely exceeded any expectations I had about this process. I know you are going to be receiving some good beer karma in the future. My coworkers did love the Pliny, and my friends really dug Otto's Jacket. That was an awesome beer in a sweet little growler.

    This!

Package landed. Good thing my porch is made on concrete because it would have been messed up. Was nervous when the box arrived with a hole in the side but all arrived safe and @EA728 packed it like a boss. Gonna take time to sort through it all but damn do I have a lot of beer. Pics to come soon
