I had my bottle of this a few months back and thought it was fantastic. Wasn't difficult to get at all, and damn tasty

Yeah it was pretty good, just had the Espresso version and liked that a little more though.

The only ones I've had are regular and the chocolate oak aged, so can't compare with any others

Yeah, people seem to forget how good Yeti and its variants are because its so damn easy to find anywhere where GD distributes... hell even I forget and the brewery is 10 minutes from my house! I think I need to go grab an Espresso Yeti bomber tomorrow!

Got a bottle of Espresso at the Friendly Greek in Lancaster last week, not sure where you usually get your beer but it should be around the area.

Which other variants did they bottle? I've had the oak aged, oatmeal, espresso, and now chocolate....funny enough I just realized I've never had the base beer though.

The only others that they've ever bottled have been Belgian style Yeti (not since 2012) and the Barrel Aged Yeti (again not since 2012)... but BA yeti is set to be released again in the coming months... looking fwd to that one...

I do my very best to remind people around me. I don't drink them constantly (honestly, its pretty unusual for me to drink the same beer more than twice in a year), but Yeti is pretty much always the fallback if I can't find something else that piques my interest.

Man, I'd forgotten about Belgian and Bourbon Barrel! Oddly enough Bourbon Barrel Yeti was the one that I liked the best, but it took me quite a while to start liking bourbon barrel aged beers since I'm not a bourbon fan (and some BBA beers still taste too much like bourbon for me). Definitely looking forward to trying it again.

I like the regular version of this, and picked up a bottle each of the chocolate and espresso probably a year ago; finally drank the espresso in January and have the chocolate ready for sometime soon...

This may surprise no one, but I've got a horizontal built including all of the 'easy' ones, base, oak aged, espresso, chocolate, and oatmeal. I'd love to get a Belgian but I know it's not in large supply, and I'm looking forward to the barrel aged coming out, I think that one (and not Belgian) and I'll consider the horizontal ready to pop open. Who's with me?

We need to have more bottle shares. I have a lot of bottles to drink.

I started a Bitches Brew vertical back when the beer was hard to get (so hard in fact, that I was unable to get it the first year). So I have a 11-14 vertical, but it's not easy to put down 4 750s in a sitting.

Belgian would probably be hard to find. Pretty much all the checkins I see recently that mention a date all have it as being from 2012. And I don't think it was quite 'good enough' for many people to keep it around. On the other hand if you found someone with it, it probably wouldn't be all that difficult to get it as they probably just accidentally have it lying around.

Finally an update on the Horizontalhood. Sorry for the long delay but last week was crazy! Anyway, box has been shipped and it is going to someone I have never shipped a box to before.

Should arrive before then end of the week.
