The Locals HINTS AND HAULS THREAD

Yeah -- I need to take a day off from work and figure out everything. But one bad assumption screws up everything.

 

I had five, but since I was apparently wrong on at least one that makes sense. Can you share the four with all of us? I don't want to do that in case I'm screwed up.

 

There should have been a 5th one today, hoping it arrives tomorrow and unfrozen.

You are correct, that box from @wheelzntoys was not part of this round. Also I just tried to go back and pick up the hints where I lost track and that's not happening. Oh well.

I could be an awesome bluffer -- but more importantly, I'm about 99% sure that we were told up front that nobody is shipping to a neighboring state -- and NY and Mass border each other, so.....

 

In the first round or two, I actually went back and checked stuff -- and IF this thread only consisted of hints and hauls, that wouldn't be too bad. However...we tend to go off on tangents, and there is lots of commentary on here that is completely useless in identifying your sender. And while some of it is entertaining, it makes starting over and figuring anything out difficult.

Of course, I AM now going to go back and check all of @wheelzntoys posts to figure out who I can and can not eliminate as his target.

Geography was never a strong subject for me.

 

Trying to figure out your sender is a ton of fun. I do it every round, and fail. I do like that we have a bunch of bs littered throughout the thread, keeps things interesting. I'm not saying you don't enjoy it either. I think as long as no one pulls a Rob, and we get great boxes saul good man. Oh and at least we don't have any @Mipper esq clues in this thread

Oh, I am so anticipating that "lurks back out" comment. We should keep a running count of that.

 

I always keep track of hints pretty closely, and since threads like this move so fast I always take note of the post number, poster, and content of the last hint I wrote down; makes it much easier to go back. At a certain point (usually once I've gotten it below a dozen possible senders) I typically stop tracking all the hints so closely and just focus on the ones from my own possible senders; but I always know where I left off in case I ruled someone out wrongly or something.


Achtung @Mikexw; since one of @Kramerbarthomer's confirmed boxes is @wheelzntoys -> @PassMeAZima, and you had 5 (that I assume did not include @wheelzntoys twice), that means you had TWO he didn't.
