I'm in Columbus.

 

Will be in Columbus Saturday for a Columbus Crew Match/Bachelor Outing. In the odd chance that you will be at the match and want to share a brew let me know we will be tailgating in the VIP lot.

 

I'm actually going to a tasting at World of Beer Saturday night, but there is a good chance I will be in Cincy either the week of 7/26 or 8/3. I may shoot to get a Cincy game in. I'd likely also hit some local breweries and would be up for a brew while I was out there for sure.

 

Keep me posted, I have a 20 game package for the Reds and will be at the games 7/28, 8/7 & 8/9.

 

Just got an email from FedEx entitled

"FedEx Shipment 770594245975: Your package is on its way"

Looks like I was spot on with who my sender was @devilfluff ! Hoping some Carton is in that box!

 

Maybe... there are 3 16oz cans in the box...

All 6 beers are either from NJ or PA. The furthest brewery a 2 hour drive. 2 of the 4 brewers do not distribute outside of NJ or PA. 1 is wider, and 1 doesn't show up on seekabrew...

 

OK... I'm thinking 2-3 of these are Carton. The bomber could be Big Gruesome... the other 12 ozs. I don't think I could make a great guess at... can't wait!

 

Label Printed - Work was a disaster. Box being dropped off tomorrow with a 3 day delivery ... East Coast is coming to the Mid West!

 

Two hints for me, and I think I'm done for hints:
My contents are:
- 3 750mL bottles
- 2 500mL bottles
- 1 22ox bottle (which may be switched for a 16oz can of something even better IF I can find it, which is a big 'IF' lately)

Average BA score is 92.6 (with one of the 750s not having enough ratings to have a score yet), weight adjusted to a 93.2. If I can find the replacement (and the original is damn good itself), then the average BA score would be 93.6, weight adjusted 94.1.

Second hint: Based on the thread thus far, I'm fairly certain that my target doesn't think I'm their sender.

 

To my target, who shares a name with a character from Breaking Bad, your box is scheduled for delivery tomorrow.

 

I am a little confused why a package that I dropped off at 7:30AM Monday at a local Fedex facility was at another facility less than an hour away at 6:48AM today??? Anyway, if my target wants to know his tracking number:

The first three digits are the same as the first three digits in your zip code
The 4th digit is the sum of all the individual digits in your apartment number
The next three digits are the same as the first three digits in your street address, but in reverse order
The 8th digit is the first digit in your area code
The 9th digit is the first digit in your phone number excluding the area code
The 10th digit is the position in their conference's standings that your city's NBA team finished in…. In 2012-13
The 11th digit is the only one (from 0 through 9) that does not show up anywhere in your address or phone #
The last digit is the position in their league's standings that your city's baseball team finished in…. In 1967

 

I finally made it back from vacation. Great to see all the activity in this thread! It's going to take me a while to get caught up on everything.

Hint #1 - Shipping North.
Hint #2 - The state that I am shipping to starts with a consonant.
Hint #3 - The state that I am shipping to has teams from all 4 major sports leagues.

I plan to ship on the 21st. As my luck would have it, on Sunday my favorite growler filling place ran out of a beer that I want to send. They have assured me that they would have it back again this week. If not, I may push the shipping date back to when they do have it.

 

And last piece of info/teaser for my target...

I am shipping 110.15 ounces, with an average BA score of 91% and average BA rank of 4.04 -- weighted those would be 91% and 4.06, so no real difference. 4 of the 6 are wants, including two picked up at the brewery last Friday; the other two are definitely a type you should like a lot, one of which is from a local nanobrewery and where the bottle shop staff didn't even know they had gotten it in until the manager overheard me asking about it.

There is also one bonus bottle that doesn't count as part of this mini-6 but anytime I make a decent homebrew I like to share, and another bottle helped pad the box.

 

Better call Saul?

 

BTW, yesterday was the cutoff date for @Tee2Grn to hopefully get his box or at least a damn tracking number for shipment to come. Has there been any news on this front? Been trying to troll the thread from the weekend but didn't look like I saw any updates.

 

Mike did some FBI style undercover work and found Rob in person. Rob claims he is going to send out the box but I'm still not convinced. Time will tell

 

The short version is that I actually was able to chase our OP down yesterday; he said he has the stuff ready to ship and plans on doing it tomorrow at which point we will hopefully get a tracking number. If not, I am hoping he at least agrees to give me the planned shipment and I'll get it out.

 

OK, I guess this is the "short version", not mine.
