Current BA ratings: 99, 99, 96, 96, TBD, TBD...

Last 2 beers I will pick up this weekend... I'm hoping they're rated 96 and 95... they will all be above 90 for sure...

Should hit at least 3 wants.. I think...

If I'm lucky (and you...) all of the beers will be in the top 250... at least 4 will be for sure

Not all of these beers are traditional summer beers (but I don't think you'll mind)

I just received a text from Rob, with a photo of a 12-bottle shipper and the caption "boxed up with some extra goodies". He said he is going out today to wrap them up and send it out.

Full? Ha... We all know loons only come in 750 ml and 375 ml bottles... but ya never know what might be in there...

 

And if I'm not mistaken, we should be starting to get daily beer pron soon with all these 6-packs passing each other in transit...

 

I've found that a face to face will usually fix a problem. Or end up in a fistfight, but that's its own kind of resolution.

Weather permitting I'll be down there for the game on the 28th.

I'll take recommendations for which breweries I should hit during the day. (Sun/Mon/Tuesday)

 

I suspect there will be a package from Texas waiting for me after work.

Sunday you should definitely hit up MadTree Brewing they are my favorite in the city and doing great stuff. Rhinegeist is downtown doing some good hoppy stuff too. Also 50 West is worth a stop on the east side of Cincy. I think Rivertown is closed Sunday not sure about Monday/Tuesday but they have a great sour program.

Right near the stadium is a Yard House which is good to hit up before the game also in OTR area is The Lackman and Neon's which are cool spots with good lineup usually.

 

I would be down to meet you for a beer too.

 

Sounds perfect. When it gets closer (and the weather looks good) I'll make a game plan up. I think I'll hit the first three of your recommendations, how about Mt Carmel? They came out here to do a tasting and their coffee nut brown is fantastic.

 

It was pretty tasty.

 

Going to be in Philly 8/4-8/5, Pittsburgh 8/6, Columbus 8/7. Anyone in those areas want to grab a beer?

 

Do you know what part of Philly? I might be able to shoot over the bridge after work.
