The Lost Abbey/New Belgium Collaboration

I picked up a bottle of Mo Betta Bretta from The Lost Abbey today and am considering picking up a few bottles of Brett Beer from New Belgium on Saturday. I just have a few questions regarding these releases.

1) These beers are released separately by each brewery, but are they the same beer? Or are they different?

2) Has anyone been fortunate enough to try both? If so, how do they compare? What did you think of them?

I Know there is a similar thread already, but it did not really cover these questions.
