Despite its high alcohol, Track #8 is an insanely drinkable beast of a beer that’s been tamed for your enjoyment.

Agree, for such a high ABV it's very drinkable, it also ages very well.

Great beer that's actually still hanging around quite a few shelves in SoCal.

Not sure if I missed it before, but do they often do in-depth reviews of renowned beer like this? Because I only "superficially" use the site, the only reason I saw it was because it was on the front page. I love the idea of doing an in-depth piece like this on beloved beers on a regular basis.

Long ago we did. But this is a new format that started with BeerAdvocate magazine back in March. https://www.beeradvocate.com/articles/category/food-drink/beer-reviews/

I had this beer at Avery's new facility during the Boulder Strong Ale fest held in late winter/early spring every year. This one stood out amongst many awesome beers as the best! Which is saying a lot considering the impressive lineup that day. Would love to find a bottle. The beer is so flavorful, complex, and different than anything else out there! Im sure the pricetag would be steep but I'll be keeping my eyes open!

Good beer, but when its between $15-20 for a 375ml, w/ Lost Abbey's historically infamous carbonation/QC and "customer service" . . . it better be world class, unforgettable stuff to become a repeat purchase.

Sounds great, will have to look on-line to see it's availability. I have a Track #10 at 13.5% ABV, looking forward to trying this bad boy soon.

    Cheers!
