The Most Refreshing Beer?

    Yeah, that and ordinary bitter. Stuff you can just gulp down without any worries. I think people forget about the low gravity session beers out there. I walk into craft brew bars..and there is nothing under 7% on the board. :/

    I'd have to go with Genny Cream Ale. Light enough and unobtrusive, very satisfying ice cold.

    Fat Heads Bumble berry honey blueberry ale is great on a hot day. Easy to down a few of them.

    Two Hearted. And, in all honesty, Magic Hat Pistil really caught me off guard this summer with how refreshing it was. Made many trips to the local bar to have on tap.

    I feel that I post this with every discussion, but it's true, I love Sculpin for a refreshing beer. Also All Day IPA is an excellent choice.

    Allagash White. One of the few beers that I always seem to drink anormally fast!

    Hill Farmstead citrus IPAs or single hop ale are also impressively refreshing. I love 2L growlers Walden, What is enlightenment, Riwaka, etc.

    Founders Rubæus was pretty darn refreshing. Glad I've got two more 4 packs in the fridge.

    Session bitters are designed just for the job. Love this one, 3.9% , dryish ,very bitter yet leaves a lasting smack of malt in the mouth

    It was the Sample Cellar at Belvoir (pronounced Beaver) Brewery in Old Dalby between Nottingham and Melton Mowbray.Wonderful place to visit :slight_smile:

    I live about 5 minutes from the brewery and over the summer, i would stop at the genny brew house pub as often as i could. Nothing hit the spot on a hot summer day like a fresh, straight from the source, cream ale, genny light, and most of all, dundee kolsch.

    Have to go with Weihenstephaner's Weissbier as well, especially when it's colder. Can be a bit thin when it warms up, but it rarely sits out long enough to get there.

    Well...depends. it could be a pils mostly..but if I am looking for more depth and flavor..I would prefer a Saison Dupont or Ommegang Hennepin.
