If you're ever in the mood for some comedy (and tragedy as well), join the "Bourbon Exchange" group on FB.

I'm surprised I haven't been banned from it. I don't think I've ever made a serious post there and any PM convos I've ever had have ended in me going "LOL" to whatever absurd offer is being put on the table.

But at least De Garde has " keepers" so you are guaranteed bottles. Plus they only allow onsite sign up. That's fine if people undervalued Oregon beers, just ship them all to me. Need more Block 15, De Garde and Ale Apothecary.

I know a lot of beers with sub 200 bottle counts released in a continent away but people still hunt for it. It will take time but soon enough PDX beers achieve "rare" status. Then it will be a shit show every time.

To get us back on topic... I say Lente is a shoe in. I agree with (I forget who posted it...) that bottle count, rating and brewer pedigree are the 3 biggest factors. What are your thoughts on SNR 2010, Black Gold, A&T, PNC, BA Behemoth, Murda'd Out, BA Mexicakes, K13 and Zomer? I have a few of those, some others I'm thinking about acquiring. Just curious peoples thoughts on those or others in general.

snr2010 - no way. 2000 isn't even on the list anymore. when it came out i remember seeing tons of FT but few ISO, no matter how good it was or wasn't.
black gold - too under the radar/too low of demand. who knows if it'll creep up.
a&t - tough call, i'd venture it's not desired enough in the whale trading circles.
pnc - based on the middling reviews, definitely not.
ba behemoth - not enough demand.
murda'd - maybe. it *could* touch the top 100 (rare/grey monday b1 territory) but i doubt it'll get further than that.
ba mexi cake - you can pretty much guarantee it'll be made again, so i'd venture no.
k13 - don't know enough about this beer.
zomer - lente is a shoe-in, but i don't think there's nearly as much demand for zomer.

these are all my opinions and i could be extremely wrong. i've had none of these, for full disclosure.

I'd imagine 10 years down the road all the Armand'4s will be as valued as 99,millenium,50th are now. But, these things take time. Those bottles are still for sale...

Agreed, the Armand '4 beers will definitely make the whale list. As for when? It'll be a while, no need to fasten seat belts.

Ha great responses. That's the type of conversations I was interested in seeing back on this post.

I would really be interested though to see where Lente and Zomer are for sale online?

That is dangerous territory, we are not allowed to speak of it.

In all honesty, I see stuff like Double Barrel Damon, Persica, and non-eszett Uli blends making it to the list before the Armand beers.
