had the Citrus & Piney on tap at the Bistro IPA Fest in Hayward this past weekend and thought it was rather "meh". Hopefully the bottles are better

I feel the same way about dank and sticky. I drank a bottle a couple weeks ago (i know it was old) but still wasnt too impressed. which was suprising cause i normally like what tomme puts out

Dogfish 120 min is on at Sunset Beer Co for those interested. Not really a release but not worth its own thread

Oh my goodness this batch of Citra Showers is quite possibly the best DIPA I've ever had for my taste buds. Drank a bomber in about 5 minutes. I need to get more tomorrow.

When I was at Noble last week Thursday and had a glass of CS I thought of Rip It. But yes it was and is delicious.

For anyone who has had Toppling Goliath King Sue.... this was almost identical at least to my memory.

Ah, cool, I should have a chance to try some PseudoSue tonight, but it would be really great if we had a King Sue.

Hope the PS bottle is fresh, I had one recently that was at about 8 weeks old and the flavor was <50% of what it normally is, which makes it worse than anything available locally. But when fresh, ya it's great.

Yeah, disappointing series so far. Local IPA game is on point lately, and Port just can't keep up.

My trader buddy is pretty on top of freshness so hopefully it is.

Mr. K's is by far the best shop in OC. no reason to really go anywhere else. from the customer service to the selection. top notch man, top notch.

Have to agree. Every time I go in there the selection is awesome. Besides the fact that they get unreal beers. Mike is a stand up guy and, if it is not very busy, has no problem taking time to talk to you about pretty much anything. It is definitely my go to. Doesn't hurt that the bruery is right around the corner too.

Mr K's is bad for my wallet. I always stop in on my way to Bruery and on my way out.

It always seems like a good idea after I've got a few drinks in me
