Maxed out. Their best beer to date.

 

Yeah. I was there last night and they mentioned it. figured it would be an announcement on a date of sale and not just bam! out there. Was something like 400 tickets or so when I bought mine moments after email. Really was an amazing beer. think this one may sell out fast.

 

aight i'm going to trust you guys on this one, bought a few. Never had anything from HPB but keep meaning to go try it

 

I don't think I've bought a beer off of BPT for less than 20$. Gotta love there price point. I was at HPB last weekend their 1UP was phenomenal. I'll definitely be keeping my eye on these guys from now on.

 

if you missed past releases, they have the majority of bottles for on-site consumption.

 

In particular I think this is a great pricepoint for a barrel aged saison.

 

I think they've gotten behind on updating their website because of CBC, I assume Wake Up is currently on tap?

And I wonder if they'll do any Uncontrollable or Wake Up variants on Sunday?

 

$13 Beer, people who vouch for it, no one trying to trade it for whalez, someone can learn a thing or two from these guys.

 

I'm sure they will have variants on Sunday. That one tobacco Griffith J Griffen was fucking amazing.

Sounds like there will be Wake Up variants on tap Sunday. Hell yeah, I was really really really leary of the GJG with tobacco but it was great.

edit: I'll definitely be there at noon, hopefully for some Wake Up at Michaels. And I think Wake Up on Fire will be on for sure.

 

alright I'm in for a couple of bottles. I wasn't overly impressed with their brett Berlinner (Sun Soaked?), but I'll give this one a shot

 

Yeah, in order for me so far for bottles are:

GJG
Lazy Susan (although there have been some significant variations from bottle to bottle)
Pfriem Spaceship
Vacation w/brett
Sun Soaked

But based on past tappings of Uncontrollable it's probably going to edge out GJG for me.

so I have to give a tip of the hat to Stone. I recently tried their revised Pale Ale, and enjoyed it. I just bought a 22 of the new Ruination and can see myself buying fairly frequently. Neither are mindblowing (but nor were there predecessors really), but both, especially Ruination, are pretty darn tasty.

 

Just a heads up to those interested, it's down to 27 bottles available (from ~400).

 

Baycrest in Costa Mesa has parabola not sure of the price though

 

anybody seen any of the new avery sours in any shops in LA/OC?
