Asked them yesterday if they were getting any and I was told they weren't. Dumb.

I increasingly have problems with Hi Times. Great example is I went in asking for a peche n brett the day they got their shipment, they had one sitting on a counter. They told me that was for an online order, then moments later as I walk out of the cold fridge, a customer comes in asks the same thing I had asked (knows the dude at the counter by name) and the dude gives it to him while saying "the last one is yours." So they really hold things back unless they know you and if you are a frequent customer.

 

Hi Times is a freekin joke, whether it's wine or beer, quit buying from these pompous ass wipes years ago.

Anyone know what's going on over there? I know they had KBS for sale today as well...

 

Yeah, I've been going there for a loooong time. I had a great relationship with the old beer crew, but don't really know the "newer" dudes and dudettes. I've also noticed their selection, while still pretty good, has been waning a bit recently. I've had KBS a bunch, just figured I'd grab some if it were easy enough. So it goes.

 

Tustin Total Wine got their KBS 2 hours ago. Quite a few cases left. $19.99

Bradley's in Tustin "HAD" Ground State. They have KBS but you need to buy a sixer of Founders IPA.

Saw some at K&L in Hollywood today

 

While it doesn't help you at all...saw some at my local 7-11 today. It was a toss up between more city of the dead or some wake up dead nitro bottles...either way....dead. =)

Ya. I've noticed the same thing, been going there for almost 10 years and the stock / selection is getting worse and worse.

 

Still have KBS at Tustin TW but it's single bottle if you're not Grand Reserve tier.

The biggest issue with him times is that everyone shops there, so anything with limited distro disappears quick. I think the selection is similar, just craft beer in 2016

 

TW palm desert has kbs. 1-4 pack limit. Have to ask

 

and the fact they pull stuff for personal, thus why you never see Cantillon.
