Same Saturday as the FW Invitational?

 

I'm surprised there's as much talk about it as there is. Double DBA was an amazing beer, but they discontinued it for a reason - no one was buying it. I still know a couple of spots that I see it on the shelf from freaking 2014

Rye Like an Eagle is easily my favorite beer of Beachwood's. But not every beer they make is legitimately great... I found Helldorado to be bad, and Stickee Monkee to merely good.

i saw they're going to be breaking out some good bottles for sale at Barrelworks this weekend. wonder if the same goes for FW Venice

 

If you are talking about the Feral Vinifera bottles, from everything I have read its Buellton only.

Was at FW Venice earlier today and I think they said STiVO will be available draft only tomorrow, no growlers. Didn't sound like they were going to get anything else special besides the raised limit on Rye Double DBA. After this weekend the limit will be back down to 1. The store had Parabola and Feral One in the coolers at the store along with the standards.

EDIT: And I think they said Stickee Monkee drops next weekend but not sure.

Just called Barrelworks, and the guy I talked to confirmed that Rye Double DBA will only be available at the three FW locations—that is, it won't be distributed—but said it would be available beyond just today. I wonder if the labels showing 4000 cases (i.e., the same amount as Parabola this year) are lying, cuz otherwise, it seems like this beer will be available for the rest of time if they limit it to 1 or 2 bottles per person and only sell through those three locations.

 

BA Monsters Park and variants still at Ramirez as of 20 minutes ago . . . 4 Coffees, 4 Coconuts, and about a case of regular.
