    Not when beers like Jai Alai score 94 and Zombie Dust scores 100!

    No doubt, but there's a shitload of beers that score over 90. If you look at this thread, there are more Booming inquires than anything else.
    I may be wrong, it just seems to me that beers that are that good and that sought after usually score higher.

    I don't give a shit about scores, I'd take Oneida over a ton of higher scored beers any day, just seems weird to me.

    Booming rollers did have some issues with consistency last year. Oxidation or under carbed, I forget but that could contribute to the lower score, I think it's an amazing beer tho! Oneida I really don't care for and know many other people feel its lackluster compared to rollers or city of the sun, not looking forward to Aroura next either so modern times won't be getting much of my money till city of the sun is back out in 6 months or whatever, sucks. I think Lagunitas born yesterday is a much better pale ale than Oneida for as far as what we get in SoCal.

    I'm not entirely sure how the scoring system works on BA. So maybe it just has a weird formula that skews certain factors.

    Oneida, Booming, 1up, Melrose, etc. all depends on each palates at the time. We all different and all seek what taste great at the time. Mayberry may taste most excellent at the time. Then something new comes along and that taste great. But west is still the best.

    Not really an itch, just saw it and was wondering how it compared to other NE style IPAs brewed out here. Never had any of the Monkish or any NE IPA'S for that matter. Don't miss anything I haven't had.

    Saw your reply and at first I was confused, then I saw your avatar. I have a nephew that's special too. It made me happy you were able to use the internet and communicate with people.

    J/K buddy, I like to give Angels fans a ribbing. It's cute that they think they're a real team.

    Just grabbed some fresh Oneida (labeled 6/7, anyway) at Total Wine Redondo -- seems milder than previously, but not bad.

    Oneida is the best shower beer. So happy it is back on the shelves. Hopefully it doesn't disappear like booming rollers
