Just left there. "20% off select 12 packs of cans and bottles". Signs say sale is 7/1-74.

I didn't see anything posted here, but FW's Imperial Walker's Reserve Porter, which is BA, was released yesterday alongside Lil Opal 2016. From the press release:

To commemorate our 5,000th batch of beer, we decided to revisit an old friend and bring it out of retirement in a brand new guise. Walker’s Reserve was a staple of the Firestone Walker lineup for many years. A supremely balanced porter, it was the perfect base to riff off of while turning up the volume a few notches. The brain child of head brewer Dustin Kral and former brewer Dustin Kor, Imperial Walker’s Reserve doubles the alcohol of the original, while also adding a healthy dose of Weyermann beech wood smoked malt from Germany. After resting for seven months in freshly emptied Kentucky bourbon barrels, the smoke character has mellowed into perfect balance with dark chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and charred American white oak. Imperial Walker’s Reserve is the perfect full-bodied sipper to go with campfires and s’mores.
It has a pretty different taste profile from most of the Vintage series. I'll be letting my bottles sit for a while.

EDIT: btw, for once my ratings are in an order I agree with—this is better than Velvet Merkin, but clearly not in the same ballpark as Parabola, at least fresh. Full review here for the lazy.

Nah. I saw the sale sign and took a peek down the aisle. Nothing caught my eye though.

Grabbed a bomber of MT Accumulated Knowledge for $6.99 from TJ in Brea. Another solid IPA from them. Quite hazy too.

Pliny the Younger and Dark Lord? I'm calling shenanigans.

I was thinking the same thing about shenanigans. Anyone near there that confirm one way or the other when they open later today?

It's also showing them as having PtE on along with PtY and it's showing Tree House Julius as well. Looks like someone is messing with the tap list.

Didn't even notice Julius on there. Must be a special 4th of July thing going on here. Down near the beach and all those peeps heading there for the 4th party and madness. Should be packed at the Crow. Glad I'm working swing shift today.

Younger, Dark Lord, and Julius? It looks like someone typed "beer whalez" into google.

Usually check-ins like that signal a bottle share on premises (or nearby). PtY, though? Even if it were true it'd taste like medicine by now and RR would pull their account.

I doubt this was true, but if it was, they're running a huge risk tapping PtY this late. Kissing their chance of future kegs goodbye.

Heard this might be a TJ exclusive? Can anyone corroborate?
