Just got the "sorry" phone call immediately followed by the cancellation email. They REALLY wanted me to known that I wasn't getting a bottle.

 

Doubt they ever left the back...

 

Has anyone visited the firewalker location in venice? if so, do they still have some more stickee monkee?

 

I went two weeks ago and they had it still along with Parabola, Sucaba, Double Rye, and their Smoked Porter. Since they enforce strict bottle limits per DL#, I would feel confident they still have Stickee.

 

Check Bevmo if you have one nearby. My local store (Canoga Park) has a lot of bottles/cans of 001 dated May 19, but none of the new batch.

Four cases or so of Accumulated Knowledge just got put on the shelf at Trader Joe's Irvine (Sand Canyon).

 

At Whisper House in Claremont right now. They have Fundamental Observation, Darkstar November, and Leche Borracho on tap right now for their 1st anniversary of being in business.

Not a lot of people here, got seated immediately. FO for days.

 

Would it be safe to say that Accumulated Knowledge will be sticking around for some time? It seems like it will.

I picked up an AK the other night and thought it was good. Aside from the reduced bitterness and fuller mouthfeel it wasn't that much different from the fresh Swami's I had after.

 

I scored 2 bottles of FO, at Craftsman Pizza in Placentia earlier today before they changed it to in-house only.

 

FO raffle tickets start today at Vendome BH. 1st drawing of six winners this Monday and 2nd drawing of 6 on the following Mon.

 

Thanks for the heads up! We went over and had the last two bottles for on site consumption. $27 was well worth it!

 

That's awesome. I was so shocked when I called to ask if they were available to go, and the chick on the phone said, "Yes, but the only thing is that you can only buy two bottles". Only if she saw the smile on my face when I heard those words. I paid 49.98 for 2 bottles. Doesn't get much better than that.

 

Four cases of MT AK (we all love our acronyms ) at TJ's Laguna Hills, if anyone cares. "Leisure Worlders" don't give a shit about beer. Hazy...juicy...douchey...whatever you want to call it, it's good and not a wallet gouger. Cheers!

 

I wouldn't say it's a wallet gouger.....$7 per bottle is pretty reasonable IMO. Now douchey! Thats fuk'd up. I wouldn't drink anything thats douchey. Especially grape flavored.

 

That's what I was saying . And I don't think it's "douchey" , just might be implying others might cuz that's what the cool kids say about "trendy" beers. I couldn't care less what it looks like or who's name is on the label. As long as it's good, I am perfectly happy. Cheers!
