Beachwood Melrose is on tap today and in bottles as well. Seems like they just had a release of Melrose

I'm realizing that 500ml bottles are totally easily and surely my favorite size bottle for any ABV, any style, not too much for a big beer, not too little for a sessionable beer, if the beer is a drainpour I'm wasting 250ml less than a 750. So I'm stoked that HPB has only released 500ml bottles so far, and that there's nice stuff coming from Smog City and other breweries in 500s.

12oz and 375ml bottles just don't cut it for me, bombers are sometimes too much, and 750s are often too much unless at a bottle share.

500mL bottles are where it is at. I completely agree with every part of this statement. they really are just about perfect

Since installing new tanks several months ago, our production has gone up. More beer for everyone! This has allowed us to produce many of our favorite beers more frequently and at increased volumes. The Melrose that went up for sale today was bottled yesterday, 06-01-15 (date stamped on the bottle). Please c'mon down to the pub and grab a "bomber" or two... Cheers and thank you all for the continued support!

NOTE: I just got back from ChiTown last night. Found and picked up a bottle of Against the Grain's "Citra Ass Down" along with several Chicago bottles/cans from Revolution, Half Acre & Pipeworks (all premier Chicago brewery's). And no bottles of Zombie Dust could be found in the 2 days there. Very hard to get unless you go to the source. The Citra Ass Down was 10.99 at Fishman's Liquor. Almost all of Against the Grain bottles are very pricey. Nothing less for $10. Average around $14. I'll be opening CAD today. :grinning:

While in Chicago I've been seeing bottles of Left Hand Milk Stout on Nitro showing up in our SoCal local shops. Can anybody here verify that?
