Sold out on the final evening of LA beer week, about 8 people in line got BA GJG that Friday because Bob dug into HPB's supplies to take care of everyone who had lined up before 5pm that day.

I got some every day after it was released but am now down to 3 bottles for myself.

He didn't miss out. All those were god awful futures orders at a lower price, they're going to hit shelves since stores had the chance to buy a shit ton during the campaign, as well as it hitting stores when released anyway. In retrospect, the whole indiegogo was a pretty bad deal for anyone who just plopped down money like that, since any basic investment plan would have made you more profits than what you're saving with pre-paying two years in advance for beer.

The magnum futures were $30 and when they eventually hit shelves they'll be at least $60. That's a great return even if it takes three years and I'm sure the beer will be good too.

i saw him say in a video that the price would still be $30 in stores, it would just be on a smaller format.

I know this is a long shot but I've got a buddy coming into town and he loves Old Rasputin. Has anyone seen any BA Rasputin lingering on the shelves? I've already tried beer menus. Thanks for the help.

I saw some last week at Eddies Jr Market in Long Beach, corner of Wardlow and Orange. It was on sale if you bought two as well.

Anybody else drain pour that ruinten? It looks disguisting (clear and amber) and taste like a pine-cone covered in sugar and peppermint. On the bright side Brett C is delisious. But I always enjoy unfiltered hops and yeast.

That's funny, they use the same recipe as the 2012 release... and I swear, if you put brettanomyces in a bottle of urine, people will slurp that shit up and call it great.

Highland Park Brewery's Vacation with Brett goes live at 11:30 am for anyone interested.

Vacation with Brett - The Base beer utilizing American hops Citra and Amarillo to achieve a crisp and slightly hoppy belgian style beer with great pear, apple, and tropical fruit aromas. We then age that beer for another 3 months with multiple strains of brettanomyces. The extended aging dries the beer out, giving it compex tropical fruit, stonefruit funkiness, and floral characteristics. **4 bottle limit per person**

Purchased bottles will be available at The Hermosillo starting on Sunday, July 19th, and the beer will be on tap as well. Bottles will be available for pickup for two weeks following (until Aug. 2nd). ***Bottles not picked up by this date will be considered forfeited. ***. Thank you for your understanding. Online bottle sales will end Sunday July 19th at 11am (1 hour before release) or when bottles are sold out. Any additional bottles not sold will be available for purchase the day of the event.
