All fair points. I agree going to have to just look away and swipe for eek at somepoint. That beer was really very good.

 

That’s a shame. I love that beer and would have bought a couple bottles but was out of town the weekend it was on sale at the bottle shop.

 

I saw it in Seattle at a bottle shop. Didn't pull the trigger, but I regret it now.

 

I've noticed some interesting things about their distribution as well. I found a couple of bottles of Eeek in Ohio when I was home in Pennsylvania for a holiday last year. Also, I was in NYC and found Papillion in a bottle shop on the lower east side the weekend of the Papillion/Bonaparte's Revenge release at the brewery. Was glad to find it since I was missing the release!

 

I'm going tomorrow night. V excited.

 

Feel like this thread needs a bump. Anyone try Space Tiger? Picked up a bottle but haven't cracked it yet.

 

Remember really liking both it an hellbroth last year.

 

Drinking my bottle of Space Tiger now. Solid beer, very heavy, almost like a tripel with a bitter hoppy finish.

And the '15 hellbroth on draft at the mousetrap is fantastic. Never had it before. Looks like the '17 Hellbroth release is Tuesday.

 

I bought a bunch of Hellbroth in '15. That beer is fantastic. Possibly my favorite Off Color beer. Glad they're releasing it next week!

 

Stopped at the mouse trap today and picked up some coffee Dinosmores. It's definitely different this year, the beans dark matter chose are interesting. Curious to see how this tastes closer to room temperature, the tap room was serving it very cold.

 

Still had coffee dinosmores to-go tonight, for those interested - made me happy since I was out of town for a long weekend at my brother in law’s wedding. Didn’t try it yet, but enjoyed a few Hellbroth and Averie at the bar - both very flavorful for lighter, lower ABV offerings.

 

I fully understand the irony of drawing attention to this but I hope the Chicago Pastryboyz Syndicate never find out about sours.

Less than 100 people here at the start of the eek release. Love it and love this beer.

Stopped in around 8:30pm and there was plenty left.

I just... wish the pricing was better. I never understand when the bottled stuff is significantly cheaper than the “from the source” draft stuff.
