Damn where do you even see the words owed? I think it is considered a perk of living by the brewery like many of the people who have the privilege of living close to a brewery and most likely support that brewery year round instead of the masses who only support during release events.

 

I go there at least once a month and I live nearly two hours a way. I've drank my weight in Dripa and creme brûlée . You just sounded entitled to "limited beers" because you are local. That's like every person from Chicago who likes craft beer saying they should only sell prop to people who live in Chicago.

 

LOL that's not entitlement at all, it would just be seen as a perk and if it didn't happen I wouldn't be like you and whine about it. I easily spend upwards of 2k there a year and never even bother attending on bottle releases because of all the foolishness from those that feel they are entitled to something.

 

@jb123 I never said owed, and I live 5 minutes away, am up there at least once a week. I was also at the release, and got my allotment, waited for 4+ hours. I support this brewery year round, just like you, but a simple question turns into an argument, because someone gets their panties in a bunch about something I didn't even say. I was just wondering if anyone had any insight. Didn't mean to make anyone upset.

 

Nobody knows what Kuhnhenn is going to do, not even Kuhnhenn.

People in Chicago don't go saying this (although we do enjoy that this is a reality.) Goose Island says they think they should only sell it to people who live in Chicago. Maybe you think the brewers are wrong though.
