I remember passing up a shelf full of Rare a few years back. They were $42 a piece and I was just out of college, damn me for not pulling the trigger!!!!

 

Firestone 14, as I didn't have the coin at the time. I have 13, 15, 16 & 17. Damn I should have donated some blood or something.

 

Off topic a bit but i remember when Pappy would sit on shelves for a least a little while. I knew it was supposed to be amazing and all but in those days I couldn't fathom spending $70 on any bottle.

Can't really think of too much beer I've regretted not grabbing tbh.

There is actually a store by me with this still on the shelf.

 

Grew up in Newton, and I'm now the beer buyer for the Marty's on Washington Street. I can still vividly remember going into that store with my father when I was in my teens and wondering why on earth people would pay anywhere from $10 to $20 for these weird green bottles of Belgian stuff.

Needless to say, I'd now give my left arm for my distributors to send me as much Cantillon as I once saw gathering dust on those shelves.

 

I had an opportunity at multiple Parabola a few weeks ago and only bought one. Probably should have bought out the store.

Probably all of the Alesmith Vietnamese Speedway growlers I passed up while living in San Diego.

 

I love Maine Beer Company. Every time I have a chance to get Lunch I miss it. Local shop sent son email it was in, went over a few hours later and there was a guy walking to the counter with what I found out later was the last bottle. I've had every other one they sell with the exception of Dinner.

 

Otter creek double dose. Thought I had more time. Hope they brew it again

 

hasnt Been that long but I do feel like i kinda let it slip through my fingers while in Cali I came across this wonderful wall of Awsome in Escondido and I have never had one of their anniversary beers and I was already grabbing 2 Parabola and 1 Sucaba I coulnt pull the trigger on the big bottle of unknown although from what i understand its a steal at the price they had of 24.99 For the FW 17 another time though :/

 

So far, almost 20 people have liked this status.

I don't get it.
