The Oracle vs. Hopslam

Is Oracle coming into Wisconsin . . . been waiting for this and will add my thoughts Hopslam vs. Oracle if feasible.

 

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times.

Hopslam > Oracle

 

I think Hopslam is leaps better. Much more balanced - different but Hopslam is up in that rare class of fresh ZD, Heady and Expo

 

Hopslam. I love the sweetness of it.

Plus, I can walk into my favorite bottle shop and buy a case of it. The same place has a case of The Oracle to satisfy all of its customers, and I can only buy 2. I hope this changes with the expanded brewing capacity.

 

hopslam>oracle, to me oracle was like a rip off of founders double trouble, or SN hoptimum.

K, I'm going to suggest that drinking over 12 Oracles thus far makes this an "expert opinion:"

Oracle is delicious, drink more of it.

 

I hate Moving, but I brought out my "moving beer."

 

I prefer Oracle, I think all the hype kind of sours hopslam not to say it isnt a delicious beer but The Oracle is so unsung for what ever reason, and at least as delicious.

 

Hopslam wins for me by a large margin.

 

I am ISO bottles as well, but this is happenin' at 8th Street Grille in Holland, MI on Fri.:

 

Picked up a couple bottles tonight. I went into it comparing to Hopslam. Definitely more resinous and bitter in the back end. I read reviews where some said it hides the ABV but to me, the alcohol was up front and it was all hops in the finish. Hopslam is complex in its own right, but is a lot sweeter. I vote for Oracle. At first I considered it a 'sipper', but the glass was empty way quicker than I expected.
