I've been fortunate enough to have had westy 12, but really want to complete the hat trick...

    Westy 8 and westy Blonde

    Where should I start?

Are these whalezbro? Do I offer high? or would some reasonably hard to get but available beers do the trick?

I was thinking to start I would offer a beachwood rye like an eagle and a 2015 KBS for the two?

    Too much / too little?

Do I have to trade internationally?

Int. trade with someone in Belgium should work.
Belgiuminabox also have them for sale, single bottles or by the crate, around 10euros each.

I might be able to help you out here, either with a int'l trade or with the fair chance of me visiting NY in June. Start a convo if you want to talk

More willing for international trade - I want to avoid Belgium In a box based on cost

I was just curious about what it takes to land it.

Definitely go after 8. I prefer it to 12. I know others that do as well.

I believe the price and rarity of the 8 and the Blonde are equal to the 12, but my satisfaction was not. While they are both OK beers, I personally don't think they are worth the trouble that the Westy 12 demands. If you can get them at a lesser rate than the 12, then go for it, otherwise just be happy that you've had the 12.

Well, I recently added all three of the available WV as extras in a trade. For Dutch/Belgian people these bottles are really easy to get and not that expensive, so if you have a trading partner there, just ask for the bottles, shouldn't be that much of a problem .
