trying to point some friends to the Publick House in Brookline and the website link appeares to be bad? wazzup?
It's been down for ages -- supposedly they are re-doing it, but who knows. Tap list, specials, etc. are posted here... http://thepublickhouse.zapd.net/
I noticed that awhile back, too. I think it's happened in the past--it seems like they went without a website for a few years awhile back. As far as I know, it's still up and running, though. I haven't been in a few months, but I've gone by it on the T a couple times and looks the same as always. I will be crushed if it ever closes--it's easily one of my favorite bars in New England, and the thing I miss most from when I lived in Coolidge Corner.
Oh yes, they're absolutely still going strong -- just completed some upgrades to their draft lines, and they just started opening for lunch/limited brunch on the weekends. Long overdue on that front.
on facebook and twitter they are constantly updating the beer list and food items. check it https://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Publick-House/159260700795538?fref=ts follow these https://twitter.com/CraftBierGuy https://twitter.com/thepublickhouse that should do you right in the future.
History bit in case you may be unaware: TPH used to be open for Sat and Sun brunch years ago then stopped it. My beery friends with kids (and the crowd-averse) used to love it, brunch was good and they got to sneak a few ticks. Big up my local TPH, drafts taste good and selection is always interesting.
