thats a rad little deal. We used to use a teavana tea steaper thing(y). put the goods and the beer in, then press over a glass and it releases in to the glass.

experimental tip: teavana has some epic fruity tea's that blend extremely well with beers.

It's a tea infuser. And it's over priced.

Is there any benefit over using a french press?

This one is made with Ancient plastic that was mined by Chinese monks during the Ming Dynasty. Also, Sam spits in every one before shipping.

It's portable. You can take it with you. But you can get a tea insurer for about $12 and slap a fish sticker on it and save $7.

The main benefit over a French Press , is that the Randall Jr is airtight.

It is a tea infuser with a water bottle.

Almost any piece of merchandise with a breweries logo on it is over priced.

:grinning: Yeah, one more way the "cool" craft brewers differ from the oldline breweries. "Promotional" items were once give-aways (you could buy a blank bottle opener for 99ยข or the clerk would hand you a "Schaefer Beer" opener out of a box under the counter - gratis) Now they are just another for-profit item - you pay top dollar to advertise their product.

Maybe it'll even recommend that people "Support your local brewery" (look inside that $20 baseball cap and read the tag - "MADE IN CHINA").

I got mine today, made the mistake of using hop pellets.

The pellets sucked up a lot of the beer
    [IMG]

I had to top it off with a second bottle.

I actually work for Teavana part-time. What's your favorite tea to steep in which beer?
