Hey guys, Does the rare barrel allow outside food in the taproom? Can I fill a growler of their guest beer? They have some cellarmaker/SARA guest beers this weekend and I'd love to take a growler home with me.
The only growler fill currently available is the one beer available to Founders to fill (no growler fills for the public). They were allowing fills of Tangerang if you had a Cellarmaker growler, but not sure if they are still honoring that, I guess you'd have to call. Seeing as they have a small kitchen and food menu, I'd imagine that bringing in your own food is not encouraged, but I have never tried.
BTW it is never legal in CA to fill a growler with a beer in a location other than where the beer was produced (with the small exception of breweries opening multiple growler fill stations, like Stone), so you would never be able to get a fill of a guest tap, even if they did offer fills for all of their own beers.
