Looks like Baxter is re-releasing Bootleg Fireworks on Nov 16th. For some reason since the last time I had this Ive been looking for it and I'm excited for it to come back - but honestly - I don't remember it being anything that knocked my socks off. Either way looking forward to this making a comeback.

ps - previous can design > new can design. Also brewery release is a week earlier for any locals.

I was wondering if its a new recipe. Can has hops listed on it. Did last years?

It was a nice surprise when it dropped last year, especially since it's very different than most of the other Baxter beers. It was pretty good and not too malty. I definitely remember enjoying it and will pick it up again when it drops this year

Wasn't aware of this last year but just picked some up yesterday. It's pretty decent and is definitely different than Baxter's typically more balanced beers. Fairly crisp and thin (in a good way) mouthfeel for a big beer. Nose could be stronger but what's there is nice. My only complaint is that the 9% abv does come through in the taste a bit, though depending on my mood that can be a feature rather than a bug.

I'll need to have couple more to really put my finger on the taste. It's got a bit of the trendy fruitiness to it but it's also more bitter than the new crop too. Definitely something I'd buy again anyway, especially at $12 a 4 pack.

Oh, and I agree with the above poster that the can is a bit tacky (though perhaps that's the point). Looks kind of like a FourLoco can from a distance.
