The Return of Vietnamese Speedway!

    It occurred to me today that Alesmith might be gearing up for another special release soon since it seems that they're every 2-3 months now. Even though I hadn't seen any email announcements, I randomly went to BPT and searched for Alesmith. And looky, looky what appeared:

    Vietnamese Speedway (4 bottle limit) and BA Old Numbskull (6 bottle limit) going on sale on July 21. As far as I know, they haven't sent out an announcement yet and I haven't seen it on any of the beer nurd sites.

    Viet was my favorite coffee version yet, so I'm excited they're bringing it back. Now I'm hopeful that we'll see BA Viet in a couple months or so from last year's original batch.

    I've had viet speedway on several occasions draft/bottles and never gotten that...maybe luck?

    Damnn... I was hoping to get a break. June put a huge hole in my wallet specially as a Bruery RS member. Time to go recycle some cans & bottles! haha!

    To me it's kind of like an artificial green apple...but maybe someone else has better description.

    Looks like we will all have to:

    "Proxies will not be allowed for this release, you will need to show your proof of purchase (in the form of confirmation email from Brown Paper Tickets) and valid id to retrieve your bottles. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. This means you will NOT be able to pick up anyone else's bottles, and we will not release the bottles to you without a confirmation and valid id matching the name on the sale! IF YOU PURCHASE THE BOTTLE, YOU HAVE TO PICK IT UP!"

    Looking forward to this, anyone know what they'll have on tap for the release? They had some very good once during last ba speedway release. And they do have ba speedway on tap right too in case anybody wasn't aware.
