kill "mouthfeel" and replace with "value/price point" on the beer review criteria. Would be much more meaningful on rating beers to most of us. Or perhaps don't kill mouthfeel but just add the value criteria into the ratings. If all other rating criteria are similar in a style of beer but 1 beer is 10-20% higher in price than its competition, then it should get bashed in the reviews for that. Its a significant factor.

Fanboys. Worst thing ever. "I'd pay $150 for this here pint of PtY".

In PA people tend to purchase their beer by the case due to liquor laws, so I would think craft beer consumers might be a little more price aware. I know that I certainly am. A $1-$3 price difference between six-packs doesn't seem like much, but that can be a $4-$12 price difference between cases, which is enough for me to at least consider going with a cheaper craft option. Of course there is typically a slight quantity discount by the case, but it's minimal [and I'm trying to keep the math simple]. I personally consider freshness too...If I find some really fresh Long Trail, Sierra Nevada, Yards, or even Magic Hat, I find it hard to pass on them at their price point.

I just wish the OP hadn't used "silent majority". It brings back too many bad memories of the past.
