A looooooooot better than I anticipated, and easily one of the single best non barrel aged stouts I have ever had! At $7-8 a bottle, how could anyone go wrong! Awesome! Thoughts?

Op said it was one of the best "non barrel aged" stouts and I'd have to agree. Love this beer.

At $5.99 a bottle here, including the Expresso, it's a steal. I've still got one of the regular and one of the Expresso. Trying to keep from drinking them to age them a bit.

    Definitely agreed!

I've been trying to get my hands on the espresso, but to no avail : (

If its anything at all like the Great Divide Espresso Oak Aged Yeti then I will be very, very happy....and if not, at least it'll be cheaper ; )

A must every year. I'll take this over many of the over hyped brews out there.

Bought my case as directed, and the espresso finally came today. I love the regular one and you just can't beat the price per quality per abv.. Just great.

Had a 2006 on tap recently. A revelation. And I'm not a fan of this beer fresh at all.

It's not Russian Imperial Stout. It's Imperial Russian Stout. IRS. Released on April 15th each year.

    And it's terrific.
