The Substance: Bad Batch?

I placed an order at the Bier Cellar but didn't pay for it. I see on twitter they are arriving today. I was wondering when I should go to pick it up? Maybe I should give them a call.

 

I think they hold unpaid order for 24 or 48 hours, but best to call (or just pay for the order online so you don't have to worry about it). And enjoy, wish I were getting some of this batch!

 

I did the same, called and they said if you do it without paying its only good for 24 hours. If you cancel that order and do a new one that you pay for (which I did) you will be good to go

Thanks guys. I'm not sure I will be able to make it up this weekend. If I buy will they keep it until next weekend? I should probably call and ask.

 

Greg will hold it for as long as you want as long as you pre pay.

Here now at the brewery, only two other people here. Maybe Saturday is more busy?

 

Tell them to do a pop-up / truck sale in Boston, I guarantee a crowd!

 

Hit the brewery today and also got my allotment from Greg at the Bier Cellar. Good trip.

 

I got to the brewery for 12 today. This was my 1st taste. Great beer.

 

Any idea if any places near kittery will have any? Going to portsmouth nh Wednesday and will be going over the border (outlet shopping for the wife) hoping to find some. Any leads?

 

I haven't seen it south of Tully's in Wells ME yet. Hopefully soon though.

Bier Cellar offering up more Substance cans yesterday/today via their website - Pay now, pick up whenever

 

How come I don't see this on their website, Facebook or twitter? Already gone? I'm going up tomorrow to Portland for the day

 

I spoke to Greg at the Bier Cellar and BBB had an issue with their canning line. They are hoping to get a delivery today and if not then next week.

 

You need to be on their email list to receive the notification/reservation links.

The sale is executed via their website - But is only announced via their email mailing list... The other posters are correct though, it seems there was another delay due to the BBB canning line - So perhaps they pulled the beer off the site for a day+, OR maybe it just sold out quickly as it usually does.

If you're headed up tomorrow, it's totally worth a call... Amazing customer service at this place. And even if they're sold out of Substance, it's worth a stop anyway. Maybe grab some Rising Tide M.I.T.A. cans? Also a solid choice.
