We were told the line is shipping on Thursday. We have the cans already, so it should be 12 days out from the brewday of those beers. I anticipate the first week of August for the first round of cans.

No excuses! I used to make that trip even other day for work. It's been a year since we moved and I miss it every day. Can't wait to go back

    Good Afternoon everyone,

I am headed out to Tucson in December for a week and I am looking for suggestions for breweries to visit. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Tap and Bottle, Ermanos, Public Brewhouse, Pueblo Vida, Borderlands, Dragoon, Iron John's, Button, 1702, and Tucson Hop Shop are some good ones. Day trip to Tombstone if you have a car.

Are there any events going on around Tucson this weekend? We will be making a quick trip but should have some free time Saturday and Sunday afternoon. Thanks!

Not sure if they'll last to next weekend, but Pueblo Vida just had a can release this last weekend. IMO, some of the best hazy hops in the state. Worth a stop in if you're in town.

I'll also always shill for Dragoon, who are just classy as hell/do every style well. Totally worth a stop.

If anyone is down south make sure to adventure to Tombstone Brewing in Tombstone, its a little drive but they are putting out amazing beer. I am sure the local Tucson folks can attest to this more than us up in Phoenix but I was lucky to score cans and was blown away.

I get in to Tucson for work on Dec 10th and I am gonna try to shoot down to Tombstone. Is that a pretty easy drive? do they typically have cans and bottles to go? Thanks in advance.

Hey, the drive is pretty easy, I would say around 1:15 to go from Tucson to Tombstone give or take traffic, etc.

    https://tombstone.beer/our-beers/

I would check their website before you make the drive to see what they have in cans/bottles but they usually have them onsite. I would just call them the day you anticipate driving over and ask them what is available to make sure they have what you like to drink first.

Definitely call ahead -- they don't can all the time, though I do imagine stuff lasts at the brewery longer than it does in Phoenix.

Not a hard drive, just don't expect it to be a 30 minute jaunt.

Unfortunately, our next canning run isn’t likely until the 14th. Typically the cans we hold back at the brewery last about a week. Not to deter you from coming, but you may want to send me a PM to check our draught list before heading out. We got hit really hard last week and we are trying to refill our taps. Right now we have 4 guest taps on. Our two most recent IPA’s are likely to be on tap still on the 10th, but we never really know.

Anyone get extra cans of Cumbre Postcards From Hell that would like to trade locally for stouts/sours?

Wanted to follow up in this thread after my trip to Tucson last week. Was able to hit the following-

Pueblo Vida (x2, hit later in the week to try Tropo the night before the release) Great beer, I am spoiled living in the backyard of Tired Hands but this place really has a good thing going if IPA's are your thing

Tap & Bottle - great bottle selection, filled a crowler of La Cubre to go

Ermanos- this place might have been my favorite, killer food, killer happy hour, was able to purchase some Tombstone cans to go, staff was awesome

Dragoon- loved the BA stout on tap. Wish I could have taken some to go.

Borderlands- Super friendly staff, enjoyed the IPA and the sours.

1702- good pizza and had a white habenero IPA that was really cleaned out my sinuses.

Crooked Tooth- this one didn't get mentioned in any of the thread above but I really liked the beer at this place. When I was in there it was little packed but the staff was super helpful and I thought the sours were on point.

Public Brewhouse- super friendly staff, beer was good. Probably the 2nd place I hit in town doing a 'sour stout'. I had to try it.

Thank you to everyone in this thread for pointing a first timer in the right direction. Really enjoyed my stay. I didnt realize how many spots I had visited until I listed them out here, kinda crazy.

    Cheers!
