    What is your number 1 ultimate whale. The one beer you will trade your soul for? I need to know.

    Me = BVDL

    Never had anything crazy enough to trade for it or won It at dark lord day :slight_frown: it will happen though. Or DB Huna.

    This was actually on tap during Zwanze day & I didn’t bother. I cannot see the added benefit of aging Lou Pepe fruit beers. They had the unblended Fou’ Foune base beer on tap which I kept drinking.

    In the past I have often said that I really wanted this or that beer but when the opportunity came up, I passed up due to crazy prices or travelling distances or because I wasn’t a fan of the people that had the bottles & I felt like I needed to almost beg.

    I have had a lot of great beer, I cannot see the point anymore worrying because I haven’t had this or that specific beer. I have had a lot of beers that I never expected to try, I recently tried some Brabantiae which I never expected to.

    I actually randomly got to try this at a home brew club Octoberfest party. Once night time rolled around people where busting out bottles I brought a few things and the dude who opened Murda'd out stout gave me a glass with a pretty decent pour. I'm not going to lie I liked it a lot (tasted nothing like Darklord thank god) but to be honest with you considering what people are willing to give up for it and the ridiculous prices I've seen and heard of it being sold for it's completely not worth it. Its a good beer and I'm glad I got to try it but I've had too many stouts that where as good or better that are much easier to get.

    BTW I had no Idea what it was when I tried it or how highly coveted it was. I think my exact quote when asked what I thought of it was "I didn't know FFF could make a decent stout besides moloko, I like it." looking back I can imagine that's not exactly what he wanted to hear me say.

    I'd take a BCBS over a murda'd out stout any day. Not trying to stomp on your dreams and I do hope you get to try it one day but I wouldn't trade my soul for it.

    The rarest thing I would love to try that I have not had the pleasure to try is any of CCB's BA marshall zhukov's or Hunapu's. Double barrel, apple brandy ect.

    Haven't even made a beer trade, and you're asking for my soul? I'd need a bunch of BA stouts that I can't get in my area. Huna's, DL, Proprietors, ect...

    I don't know about any soul-trading, but the usuals: Westvletern 12, DB Huna, Dark Lord. Rarity is my least favorite thing about this hobby.
