    The way it's being released makes it a near certainty that I won't be able to find any...And it was Assassin that gave me hope there was life after Rare.

    At this point I'd probably say Founders KBS: Reserve (aka KBS Devil's Cut). I'm not the biggest fan of KBS but a 15.2% version leaves me intrigued.

    Nope, it was only a few kegs. I believe it's KBS that spent two years in a bourbon barrel.

    KBS isn't a big fave of mine but that would be worth trying. I find the coffee buries the bb characteristics in regular KBS so the extended ba might make the difference for me.

    I've been lucky enough to try a lot of the whales that I'm legitimately interested in, but Dirty Horse and Soleil De Minuit... I would trade a lot of beer to try either one.

    Think they did, had 06 last Christmas and it's aging fantastic.

    Blauw is my number 1 obtainable whale, after that everything else is in a dream realm.

    It's a 'case', I'd have to double check if it's 12 or 24, but in neither case is that as low as $2... It's at a distributor in my neighborhood, and though this isn't an issue with Orval, I should mention that it might have a little dust on it.
